The Role:

The Insurance and Estate Planning Specialist (IEPS) is responsible for providing personalized insurance solutions that meet the needs of IG Wealth Management clients. Working closely with IG advisors, the IEPS designs and implements advanced strategies for wealth preservation, retirement income enhancement, estate distribution and transfer, charitable giving, business succession and living benefits, including critical illness insurance and disability income protection. The IEPS uses their expertise in insurance and estate planning to optimize clients’ financial plans. They will use leading financial planning software to translate abstract notions into concrete terms. Through a proactive approach, the IEPS will identify opportunities to partner with advisors and clients. 

 

Responsibilities:

Establish relationships with consultants who want to partner with you to act as the insurance expert on their team for their HNW clients

Identify clients and insurance opportunities together with the consultant.

Develop proposal, model in our proprietary financial planning software, and present the solution to the client.

Actively speak and engage consultants at RO events and clients at marketing events.

Liaise with Region Management to identify strategies to grow insurance sales and Consultant growth opportunities.

Manage and promote key relationships with our Insurance Partners’ Advanced Sales departments.

Collaborate with Head Office on insurance and estate planning initiatives to the field.

 

Requirements:

Strong leadership, sales and relationship building skills and ability to execute on your own business plan.

Knowledge and understanding of industry conditions and trends, and competitor products and pricing.

Expert knowledge of insurance & estate planning principles, financial services, and tax laws.

Ability to run a successful practice virtually and to travel throughout your own area using your own means of transportation.

Strong customer service attitude with good interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment in both French and English.

Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Holds applicable provincial licenses.

Position

As a member of our Digital Technology team at IGM Financial, you will be joining a dynamic and highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. As a Senior Manager Digital Platform Management, you will be responsible for end to end platform engineering practice across the IGM Digital Platform, including sandbox environment management, logical access management, platform customizations, security and data management, etc. you will have an opportunity to partner up with business and technology stakeholders and external suppliers, contribute directly to the digital roadmap, work closely with our agile teams, and lead the successful execution of strategic initiatives for Digital Platform Management, delivering a differentiated experience and digital capabilities to IGM clients, advisors, and employees. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for environment strategy and maintenance across Digital Platform 

Provide support for test data seeding and management 

Provide oversight for logical access management, user provisioning, permission sets design & configuration, etc. across Digital Platform 

Provide platform customizations (fields, page layouts, etc.) 

Create and manage reports and dashboards for Digital Platform 

Lead continuous improvement of Digital Platform in support of Salesforce implementations, applying methodology that adhere to Salesforce best practices for platform configurations, code documentation & maintenance, test classes for all custom development. 

Oversee the integration and maintenance of business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Mulesoft, SAP Hana etc. 

Manage inter-project dependencies and platform-level risks and actively address impediments 

Collaborate with the Digital Release Management team to support code deployments and release cycles for new features and fixes to new / existing digital applications. 

 

The Successful Candidate Will Have the Following Experience 

Financial Services Industry experience required  

Salesforce platform experience required, such as Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Services Cloud & Marketing Cloud, etc. 

Hands-on Salesforce administration experience or Salesforce Administrator Certification required 

Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM/KANBAN required 

Scaled agile certification and experience desired, e.g. SAFe  

Experience implementing Salesforce end-to-end and possess in-depth knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce. 

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and decision-making instincts  

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills 

Experience with Data Extraction and Data Loading using Salesforce Data Loader, or other similar data management tools, such as Workbench, Excel, etc.  

Experience of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (custom objects, build reports, assignment rules, flows and process builder), and Salesforce platform and architecture 

Experience with Salesforce APIs such as Object Reference, Metadata, Bulk, and MetadataComponentDependency APIs 

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modelling 

Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)  

Experiencing using a scripting language or tool such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell  

Experience and confidence using version management tools, specifically GitHub  

Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, and Confluence 

Experience with automation tools and automated pipeline processes, specifically Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline 

University degree required  

Master’s degree in Technology or Business desired

POSITION SUMMARY: This position administers the setup, appointment & termination of all Consultants, Associates, Corporate Advisors, and IG Wealth Connect Reps on the various systems. The role is responsible for ensuring that the relationship of Consultants to Division to Region is accurately maintained and that all required documents are received, reviewed, and stored. It is responsible to ensure that licensing of Consultants, Associates, Corporate Advisors, and IG Wealth Connect Reps is updated on the systems.

 

       DUTIES INCLUDE:

Administers the setup of all new Consultants, Associates, Corporate Advisors, and IG Wealth Connect Reps on the systems; tracks outstanding requirements to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Administers the termination, transfers and status changes of Consultants, Associates, Corporate Advisors, IG Wealth Connect Reps. Ensures compliance with established deadlines.

Monitors and maintains licensing information for all registered individuals.

Monitors the Field Network Administration Mailbox and responds to inquiries.

General administration of various programs within the business unit.

 

       QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 – 4 years’ experience providing support and coordination of all administrative duties.

Completion of a Post Secondary education program focusing on general business and/or office administration.

Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral & written) with individuals at all levels.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle demanding situations.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize multiple demands, demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of the administrative processes around the management of the structure of our Consultant Network an asset.

Demonstrated ability in all PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of the Sales Information System, Advisor Portal, SAP and ICM (Incentive Compensation) is beneficial.
