BAND 3 – Director, Social Initiatives, Planning and Priorities Secretariat – (95080)

The Planning and Priorities Secretariat (PPS) collaborates with ministries to ensure that the scope, direction, sequencing and delivery of key policy initiatives are aligned with the intentions and priorities of the Premier and Cabinet. The PPS supports Cabinet in maintaining a big-picture view of work underway across government and supports Cabinet decision-making regarding the prioritization and sequencing of work on key commitments.  The PPS works with Ministry executives to define timelines and deliverables for these key commitments and to support effective cross-government responses to emerging high priority issues.

LSO OTHR 2 – Indigenous Relations Liaison – (93630)

The Indigenous Relations Liaison works within the BCTS business area to develop and maintain positive relationships with Indigenous Peoples to advance BCTS’ business principle dedicated to true and lasting reconciliation. The position works directly with Indigenous Peoples and BCTS staff to plan and facilitate legal consultation processes (i.e., preparation, engagement, accommodation, decision and follow-up) consistent with legal requirements, reconciliation and relationship building, and supports senior staff in negotiation and implementation of business-to-business and relational agreements that contribute to effective and durable relationships with Indigenous Peoples.
