The Team The Strategic Child Welfare and Reconciliation Policy team is a close-knit and supportive group, comprising a Director, three Managers, and six Policy Analysts. Together, we foster a collaborative environment where problem-solving and relationship-building are valued. We work with Indigenous and social sector partners and with colleagues across the Ministry of Children and Family Development and government. Our collective aim is to drive significant, systemic change that positively impacts children, youth, and families, aligning closely with provincial commitments to reconciliation and upholding Indigenous jurisdiction and rights. This includes collaboratively developing policy and legislation with First Nations, Modern Treaty Nations, Métis, and Inuit
