Position:

This position is a senior member of the leadership team responsible for the financing and associated financial risk management activities the company’s mortgage operating line of business. The successful incumbent in this job will manage the valuation, planning, and analytical functions of the Mortgage Banking Operations and will oversee middle and back-office teams, our control environment and will monitor industry and regulatory environment, including developments in valuation best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

Oversee middle and back-office functions related to funding and financial risk management associated with mortgage originations and financing activities. 

Daily valuations of derivatives and other mortgage-related financial instruments including daily margin requirements. 

Development of revenue plans for the mortgage line of business and ongoing reconciliation of variances to expected operating results.

Ongoing results analysis, operational reporting, and other analysis as required to support business.

Design and implementation of a continuously evolving control infrastructure. 

 

Requirements:

CFA designation and thorough understanding of different valuation techniques.  

5+ years’ experience leading a diverse team of finance professionals.  

5+ years’ experience in capital markets including securitization within the Canadian residential mortgage industry. 

Demonstrable proficiency in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.  

Above average Microsoft Excel, and modeling skills with experience with Bloomberg, data sciences, Access, SAP HANA, Mortgage Hub.

The Role:

The Opportunity

The Operations Cash Management group at IG Wealth Management is looking for a dedicated Coordinator to join our team. Operations Cash Management provides administrative and servicing support for multiple lines of business including Mortgages, Insurance, IGFS, IGFS Nominee and IGSI and provides administrative processing and servicing support to IGM clients, Consultant Network, Planning Specialists and Regional Offices and other areas.

 

The Operations Cash Management team is responsible for the analysis and efficient execution of the overall NN/IGSI client experience of core processing and data integrity of client administration including cash management of client accounts, fee administration, Money Market Chequing administration, bank wire processing. The primary objective of the team is to provide accurate and efficient administration, processing, and service support.  The delivery of overall service excellence is adhered to by closely monitoring reports, analyzing, and tracking service standard.

 

The coordinator will be responsible for providing efficient and timely administration of payments whether internal or external; ensuring all payment administration work that is carried out is compliant with internal procedures.  Prepare accurately and in accordance with the agreed service level agreements or relevant client services deadlines in a cost-effective manner and adherence to risk management guidelines. Role & Responsibility

The Senior Security Platform Specialist is a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team responsible for operating and maintaining Identity Management, Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms for the enterprise.

 

The Senior IAM Architect will work with project teams to architect secure IAM and PAM solutions destined for multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

 

Working with business, security, and other technical team members, the IAM Architect will assist with technical security architectural requirements, design, and delivery of the SailPoint IdentityNow, Active Directory, Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management platforms. This role will lead the development of toolsets that brings centralization, security, and timely access to resources and will work closely with IAM Engineering, Operations and DevOps team members.

 

This is a deep technical, delivery and leadership-oriented role, and provides a unique opportunity to work closely with numerous business and functional areas across IGM.

Key Capabilities & Responsibilities

Define strategic security architectures across hybrid technology stacks and cloud hosted IAM, PAM and Secrets Management platforms

The Training & Learning department oversees the development, maintenance and delivery of learning solutions and programs for IGM which includes Financial Advisors and Directors coast to coast.  Qualifications:

IG Wealth Connect is a strategic area within Financial Services Distribution. IG Wealth Connect is responsible for managing, servicing and providing financial planning advice to a segment of IG Wealth Management clients nationally. IG Wealth Connect is servicing accounts nationally.

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Advisor will provide financial planning advice and ongoing client servicing to a segment of client accounts nationally. The Advisor will ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to in all their activities. This position is also responsible for delivering financial planning advice and an outstanding client experience.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Manage day-to-day priorities servicing inbound/outbound client, proactive campaigns and retention activities.

Provide financial planning advice – assist with estate planning, debt management, insurance and mortgage.

Position (details)

Reporting to the Director, Reporting and Business Analytics, the Senior Manager, Reporting and Business Analytics will lead a team of reporting analysts responsible for reporting, analytics and metrics tracked and reported on within Financial Services Distribution. This includes, but is not limited to: Consultant and Region, Business Insights Dashboards, Business Reporting, compensation and recognition reporting and distribution analytics. As the leader of a team, this individual will be responsible for guiding the creation of dashboards and other methods of sharing insights and reports. The incumbent will be responsible for finding innovate ways to combine data, technology and other methodologies to discover and deliver valuable insights for Financial Services Distribution and the Field Network.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Provide leadership to a team of business analysts responsible for the design, implementation and management of reporting, dashboards and analytics for Field network and Distribution leadership. Including Consultant and Region, Business Insights Dashboards, Business Reporting, compensation and recognition reporting and distribution analytics.

Working with the Manager, Business Reporting, manage the overall reporting process for the Business Reporting and Analytics team by maintaining, enhancing and developing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Develop/Enhance communication/team SharePoint sites for storage/distribution of reports

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of experience in Financial and/or Business reporting

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance or Computer Science

Proven success leading a dynamic team of individuals who are responsible for the design, implementation and management of reporting, dashboards and analytics

Innovative, analytical and creative thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills

Proven leadership, management and implementation abilities required

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a fall term position, September to December 2024.  Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after the internship to be eligible to apply. This position is responsible for supporting the Data Science team in Analytics and Data Engineering tasks. The student will assist in developing datasets, models, and reports which are used to understand our business and meet strategic objectives. This position provides a great opportunity for a university student to gain practical experience in the fields of AI and Data Science.

 

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing relevant datasets, reports and analysis for operational and strategic initiatives

Work with data from multiple sources and databases (manipulate data, prepare data for machine learning)

Analyze structured and unstructured data, organize findings and translate into actionable insights

Learn various modelling approaches and understand how to evaluate best performance considering model metrics and appropriateness for business interpretation

Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure models/solutions can be deployed

Participate in the development, testing, implementation, documentation and continuous improvement of datasets and data models as a member of the Data Science team
 

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Analytics, Statistics or a similar field

Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Git
