The Role:
As a member of our Corporate Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. 
 
This role works closely with business sponsors and business representatives to capture the systems objectives, evaluate the business case, and define solutions that are in alignment with the organizational system architecture. This role also works with Project Managers, Systems Architects, and Software Developers in a shared responsibility for project evaluation, quality and completion. Involvement with large scale projects involving multiple business areas as well as internal and external providers is anticipated.  The role will require a strong understanding of the high level of complexity across business areas where both the impact and risk associated are high.
 

The successful candidate will be working on our Finance, Audit and Risk team, and will be responsible for configuring SAP ECC Finance modules; specifically, FI, AP, AR, CO, MM.  Our SAP ERP environment is ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pkg 8.  Detailed knowledge of impacts to SAP configuration is required to support sustainment and project delivery.   
Candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Configuration and Systems Analysis with large Program experience.

 
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Liaises with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business objectives to design the solution that will meet their decision support and management reporting needs. 
Defines and communicates systems requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure applications are flexible, open, scalable, available, testable, and maintainable within a high-volume production environment.
Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the solution, working with the Systems Architect, Vendors and Software Developer to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology. 
Applies both in-depth business and technical knowledge, to successfully represent the business and technology community in arriving at technical solutions.
Works with and collaborates with internal and external technology partners in meeting the needs of Finance, Audit and Risk.
Producing knowledge-sharing documentation and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

The Role
As a Senior Specialist within IGM’s Real Estate Delivery team, you will be responsible for liaising between our IGM construction project managers and our internal & external technology partners to coordinate the technology activities on projects.
 
We are looking for an organized and adaptable candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels as a flexible, effective communicator across teams, supporting a variety of initiatives, processes, and procedures.
 
Reporting to the Practice Manager, Real Estate Delivery you will be responsible for:

Technology coordination. You will be accountable for understanding the technology scope and requirements, initiating the work requests with the required technology stakeholders, monitoring progress of the technology tasks for each project and keeping the respective project managers apprised of status and any issues/risks required attention or escalation.
Scope. Technology workstreams you will be responsible for coordinating include but not limited to: LAN room readiness and compliance with IGM LAN room standards; monitor & docking station installation; network installation and testing (circuits, switches, wired/wireless networks); print delivery, configuration and testing; installation, configuration and testing of video conferencing equipment (i.e. Microsoft Teams); digital signage and any new technology that is added to our design/technology standards. Execution of these tasks will be responsibility of IGM internal teams as well as various external vendors.

 
Duties:

For assigned projects:

Identify technology related deliverables and tasks – using existing Delivery Framework, checklists and documentation
Work with the project manager to refine the task list and agree on who is responsible for each
Engage the required internal and external partners and complete necessary intake forms
Ensure handoffs between stakeholders where there are dependencies
Monitor, track and report status on technology activities
Respond to questions/inquiries from the project manager or other stakeholders on the status of specific tasks/deliverables
Escalate issues on a timely basis so that solutions can be found
Responsible for assembling / maintaining documentation related to the project, providing lessons learned, supporting the project closeout

Director, IGM Employee Communications will lead communications for the IGM corporate functions, including the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Human Resources (HR), as well as overseeing all digital corporate channels (Intranets, newsletters, digital boards). The role requires a thorough understanding of business strategies across IGM, effective collaboration across teams/business leaders, and an external focus to integrate leading best-practices.
   
The Director role is a people leader role based in Toronto, Winnipeg or Montreal in a hybrid workplace environment – with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Occasional travel is required (e.g. to the other IGM offices in Canada).
 
Key Accountabilities:
Communications Planning & Delivery (focused on IGM Corporate):

Lead employee communications for IGM Corporate (including Technology, Operations, Human Resources) – developing an annual plan and leading a team of 4 to plan and deliver communications to bring our strategy and culture story to life
Develop the COO and CIO communications program and calendar focused on Leadership Townhalls, All-Staff Townhalls, and Executive messages, including managing agendas, speakers, back-end production, PowerPoint decks, scripts/key messages, logistics and promotional communications

We are currently looking for a Manager, Compliance, to join our Compliance department located across Canada. The mandate of the Compliance Department is to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements affecting investment dealers, including rules, policies and by-laws of the self-regulatory organization of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), provincial securities commissions, insurance commissions/councils and other regulators. The Manager, Compliance, is registered to supervise the activities of IG Wealth Management registrants. 

 

Responsibilities include:

Conducting Tier 1 supervision activities including conducting reviews of daily and monthly trading, account opening and KYC updates, outside activities, social media supervision, and service-related complaint resolution on either the investment dealer or mutual fund dealer platform, and or both.

Supporting IG Wealth Management registrants in resolving compliance issues with regulatory guideline interpretation and with inquiries relating to acceptance of unique or exceptional situations.

Managing regulatory obligations and commitments, such as the 90-day training program, 6-month supervision, periodic on-site sub-branch visits, continuing education, as well as close supervision.

Identifying training requirements, implementing and coordinating the delivery of training programs.

Participating in internal compliance reviews or external regulator audits conducted in Head Office or Branch/Sub-Branch office locations.
 

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in a compliance-related environment.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant business discipline.

Must qualify to be immediately registered with CIRO as a supervisor for investments, mutual funds or both.

If currently qualified as a supervisor for mutual funds only, the candidate must commit to completing the following courses within 1 year from hire, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices (CPH), and Investment Dealer Supervisor Course.

Will have to meet other continuing education requirements as required by the regulators.

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, including understanding of regulatory requirements of CIRO, insurance commissions/councils and other regulators.

Strong oral, written and communication skills must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with various levels of staff, including senior management, along with being an effective listener.

As a member of our Digital Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in, and passion for, delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights.  As a Technical Cloud Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative, scalable cloud solutions using AWS technologies. You’ll work closely with executive sponsors, project managers, developers, and infrastructure experts to lead the design and implementation of complex, multi-platform systems.
Role Overview:
The Technical Cloud Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture, development, and integration of multi-platform solutions within projects. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS Flows, Lambda functions, and coding. The ideal candidate will also provide project management leadership and support through resource planning, mentoring junior technical staff, and coordinating with vendors/suppliers for technical products or services.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect & Innovate: Lead the definition and proposal of Business Systems and Technology solutions as part of project leadership teams.
Build & Solve: Design business application systems, including end-to-end solution components, to deliver the required functional and non-functional/engineering capabilities.
Align & Integrate: Integrate business applications with complex systems of applications and infrastructure in a multi-company environment.
Mentor & Manage: Provide oversight to ensure that all components of systems are properly constructed and implemented as designed.
Lead & Collaborate: Engage with other business, system, and enterprise architects on the team and across the IGM to ensure that solutions across the organization are aligned.
Hands-on: Actively participate in coding, configuration, and technical problem-solving as needed.

Core Competencies and Experience:

At least 10 years’ experience designing, integrating, and implementing application solutions for businesses in a large, complex systems environment.
Proven skills in designing and delivering multi-platform business application solutions.
Proven skills in designing and delivering complex solutions including both automated and manual processes.
Broad knowledge of IT industry technology and directions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience defining business strategy, business processes, and business systems across a single business domain.
Superior leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective communication and internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to summarize complex and sensitive topics to effectively communicate to senior stakeholders.
Effective planning and organizational skills.
Post-secondary education in a related discipline.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Canadian Financial Services industry.
Experience with Salesforce Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce (AWS) Voice.
Experience delivering capabilities involving packaged/SaaS solutions.
Familiarity with cloud implementations and migrations.
Experience using Mulesoft API integration, encryption, and industry security protocols.

Senior Salesforce Developer 
As a member of our Digital Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with project managers, systems analysts, business architects, solutions architects, vendors, and infrastructure specialists, sharing leadership responsibility for system delivery and quality through an Agile delivery methodology.
 
Role Overview:
The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the development, and integration of new and existing Salesforce solutions within projects. This role requires a strong technical background, including hands-on experience with Flows, configuration, and coding. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, desire to learn and grow, communication and team collaboration within large projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, implement and test customized software applications built on Salesforce’s Force.com platform. 
Development of Salesforce functionality using the Salesforce API, APEX, Aura and LWC Components and other tools that extend the product. 
Responsible for implementing partial or full solutions 
Providing technical support and input on the application of technology to the business, quality assurance and support areas 
Providing planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment 
Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity 
Provide estimates for software development work 
Work closely with Project Managers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Systems Analysts, Systems Architects and other Software Developers 

Core Competencies and Experience:

Post secondary relevant degree/diploma (Computer Science, Computer Analyst/Programmer or equivalent) 
4+ years of experience with application development.  Java or Salesforce experience preferred 
2+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer.  Salesforce Administrator and Developer Certifications are a bonus. 
In-depth knowledge of APEX, Aura and LWC components 
Experience creating flows
Knowledge of Salesforce security models, permissions and sharing 
Experience with JavaScript, CSS and HTML 
Must have experience with design and implementation of custom objects, Apex classes, Asynchronous Apex, controllers, Bulk API, Batch Apex, Triggers, SOQL and SOSL, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Apex Callouts and Unit test classes.
Experience with source code and release management tools, i.e. Github, Jenkins, Sonarqube 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with the ability to work with a team or individually 
Self-starter, able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and tolerate change and ambiguity 
Ability to provide creative solutions and possess strong problem-solving skills 
Proven experience working on large, complex, enterprise level solutions 
Proven success setting work priorities, multi-tasking and balancing varying demands 
Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness in completing tasks, and attention to detail 
Positive attitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly 
Dedication to keeping up to date with current trends and best practices 

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Financial/Service Cloud, App Cloud, Communities, Salesforce1, My Salesforce and AppExchange solutions 
Experience with creating custom share records through Apex
Experience with Trigger frameworks
Experience with Omnistudio
Knowledge of configuration such as User Access Policies, Approval Processes, etc. 
Experience with Salesforce community portal administration and community builder concepts 
Mulesoft Integration with on-premise or third-party solutions using RESTful Web Services 
Experience in data migration using Workbench, Data loader, Import Wizard 
Ability to lead and mentor others 
A commitment to the Agile methodology. You have experience working in a SCRUM environment. 
Previous work at a large financial institution would be a definite asset
