The Assistant Vice-President, Management Reporting will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the management reporting function within IGM (with specific responsibility for IG). This position provides leadership of the management reporting practices for IG and MI and connects to other reporting practice leaders (HR, Tech & Ops) to drive consistent practices, tools, and skills. The AVP will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
 
Management reporting

Develop and implement reporting frameworks and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and aligned with industry best practices across IG and Mackenzie
Lead the development and delivery of management reports and financial presentations to senior leadership
Provide strategic oversight into remediation approach and execution
Collaborate with senior management to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor business performance
Work closely with IT and data management teams to enhance reporting systems and tools
Connect with other reporting practice leaders (HR, Tech & Ops) to drive consistent practices, tools, and skills
Lead reporting governance forums with Domain Owners/Stewards, including recommendations to simplify and consolidate reports and dashboards
Focus on modernizing and institutionalizing standardized reporting, establishing a single source of truth while also improving efficiency and effectiveness
Manage the repository of existing reports and KPIs, rationalizing where needed to ensure a streamlined and efficient reporting process.
Support in the implementation of robust data quality and governance practices
Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and applications
Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, architectures, and methodologies
Define an intake strategy to prioritize new requests for reports and enhancements to existing reports in close cooperation with internal stakeholders. This continuous improvement approach ensures our reporting capabilities evolve with the business needs.

Qualifications

Position  
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Distribution, the Vice President, Corporate Channel, Ontario and Atlantic will lead a regional team focused on growing the dedicated advice stream of employee advisors. This includes executing the annual business plan, recruiting the leadership team and Advisors, and managing key metrics related to financial planning, growth, and client engagement. Responsibilities 
 
Leading IG Dedicated Channel for Ontario and Atlantic Canada 

Responsible for achieving key performance metrics related to growth and the IG Wealth Management financial planning experience, ensuring each client receives a comprehensive financial planning offering. Responsibilities include:
Managing and coaching a team of leaders to achieve business results and engagement through coaching employee advisors.
Accountable for the overall business results of licensed employee advisors, including meeting targets for investments, mortgages and insurance.  
Managing the transition of clients from the entrepreneurial channel to the Corporate Channel with a focus on client experience and retention.
Supporting the Senior Distribution and Region Leadership teams in segmentation conversations with Advisors in their Regions.

Distribution Leadership Team and Strategic Implementation

Building and managing relationships across the organization with key stakeholders (Distribution, Technology, Compliance, Marketing, and Human Resources). 
Partnering with Senior Distribution Leadership, Private Wealth Management Leadership and Regional Vice Presidents to achieve the strategic direction of the Corporate Channel.

Role & Responsibility:

The IT Risk Manager – Risk and Controls Assurance is part of the First Line of Defense and is responsible for overseeing risk assessment, controls development, review, testing, and overall assurance. This role ensures the organization has clear visibility into the IT risk landscape, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk mitigation. The IT Risk Manager will report to AVP, IT Risk and will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance the organization’s IT risk management framework.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment & Controls Development:

Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement effective controls to mitigate identified risks.

Review and update existing controls to ensure they remain effective and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Test controls to verify their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Reporting & Analysis:

Develop and deliver periodic IT risk reports to Senior Management and relevant Committees.

Highlight the current IT risk landscape, including identified risks, trends, and potential impacts.

Provide clear, data-driven insights into the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and control measures.

Establish and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to track and communicate emerging risks.

Support the preparation of risk dashboards and executive-level presentations.

Risk Governance & Assurance:

Collaborate with risk and security teams to ensure IT risks align with enterprise risk management standards, policies, and frameworks.

Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Ensure risk issues are identified, escalated, and reported in accordance with enterprise policies.

Provide insights into and recommendations on improving risk governance and assurance frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

Work closely with IT Security, Data Governance, IT Operations, and other business units to enhance risk transparency.

Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders across business units and teams to build trust and act as a trusted advisor. Provide subject matter expertise to advise stakeholders on control documentation and testing in compliance with policies and standards.

Act as a key liaison between first-line IT risk functions and executive leadership.

Facilitate discussions on IT risk trends and issues with risk committees and board-level stakeholders.

Assist in responding to internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and third-party assessments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related fields.

5+ years of experience in IT risk management, IT security, compliance, risk assurance, or related fields in the financial services industry.

Strong expertise in risk assessment, controls development, testing, and overall assurance.

Knowledge of IT Risk frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards related to IT and Cyber Risk management, including emerging trends and issues (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, CIS Controls).

Strong understanding of IT governance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Risk and Control management knowledge and industry experience across Information Technology (IT) domains.

Experience with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk dashboards, and metrics-driven reporting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business-relevant insights.

Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.

Department Summary: 
The Real Estate and Facilities department provides the strategy, project delivery, leasing and facility operational management of IGM’s corporate campuses, over 100 IG Wealth Management locations across Canada, and a handful of international Mackenzie Investment distribution offices. It delivers services through its employees and key partners across Canada, with a strong orientation to Operational Excellence and a modern, effective client, advisor, and employee experience for all work locations.

Job Description:

•    Reporting to the VP, Real Estate & Facilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring effective operational functions across approximately 1.7 million square feet of commercial buildings in a multi-city portfolio, including three corporate campuses in Toronto, Winnipeg and Montreal.
•    The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective policies, processes, and procedures and the measurement and reporting of service delivery to the team senior leadership. This includes standard operating procedure development for the operations team, but also policy design and communication to key stakeholders (i.e. employees)
•    The role is accountable for the fulfillment of workplace guest service requests such as townhalls, workplace reservations, parking, bike locker, and gyms for corporate compasses while also ensuring timely response and resolution for all break/fix incidents for all properties in scope. This includes ensuring effective property management via key partners, including building mechanical, cafeteria, waste management, security, janitorial, shredding, coffee services, etc., including preventative maintenance and asset management activities. 
•    The role is responsible for Workplace Health and Safety program, policies and processes, inclusive of incident reporting and remediating safety issues accordingly, annual training design and rollout, and workplace health and safety committee governance.
 
Key Responsibilities::

 Overall Property Management and Facility Operations:
•    Provide strategic and operational direction and leadership to facilities teams (employees and partners)
•    Oversee building operations (break/fix and property management (outsourced)) and daily site operations (moves, occupancy planning, security program, asset management)
•    Oversee guest services provided to corporate campus employees, which include a portfolio of food services (i.e. cafeteria/coffee), lockers, workplace reservation services, parking, lockers, and IGM’s art program)
•    Policy, process, and procedure development and maintenance for internal SOPs as well as employee guidance relates to issue report, requesting real estate services, etc.
•    Measurement of KPIs, service standards, and management reporting of actuals vs. targets, including energy management and sustainability; ensuring leading-edge policies, procedures and best practices are in place for all aspects of the portfolio.
•    Ensure effective third-party governance and relationship management. 
•    Budget and Fiduciary Responsibilities:  in conjunction with your teams; develop operating and expense budgets; including a long-term capital project plan and budget.  

Workplace Health and Safety (WPHS)
•    Oversee the integration of WPHS programs, processes, standards, and tools into one industry leading WPHS Program.
•    Ensure all elements of the H&S platform encompass best practices, industry standards and trends.
•    Chair certain Workplace Health and Safety governance forums.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Facilities Management considered an asset.
•    Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA) certifications considered an asset.
•    The ideal candidate has 10+ years in overseeing a complex portfolio that includes Property Management, Facilities and Workplace Health and Safety. 
•    The successful incumbent will be a strategic thinker who is highly organized with a high degree of judgment and a keen eye for detail.
