DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Region Office Operations Division is responsible for providing operational and administrative support services to members of the Advisor network in Region and Division offices across the country. 
 
WHAT WE OFFER: We offer a standard in-office, 37.5 hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Along with a competitive base salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on the achievement of corporate goals and personal objectives. New employees start with three weeks of vacation plus additional  wellness and volunteer days. POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator, Region Office Operations serves as the primary point of contact, delivering services to both internal and external clients of IG Wealth Management. This role involves welcoming clients at reception, addressing inquiries related to key business transactions, and handling general administrative and facility support tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception Duties: Welcoming clients and office members, managing incoming calls, and overseeing supply inventory.
Mail and Courier Management: Handling receipt, preparation, and distribution of mail and couriers.
Meeting Room and Facilities Support: Arranging meeting rooms, setting up technology, maintaining office equipment, and conducting regular facilities reviews.
Advisor Network Support: Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and resources, including training on digital tools.
Onboarding and Training: Assisting with onboarding new members, system training, form information, office procedures, escalation support, and general inquiries.
Administrative Support: Offering additional administrative assistance to the Manager, Region Office Operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of administrative and reception experience preferably in the Financial Services industry
Post-secondary education in a business discipline is an asset
Demonstrated strengths in:

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
 

Working in collaboration with External Wholesaler and developing an annual business plan, enabled by a monthly strategic plan. Plan would include business development efforts, segmentation, branch/one on one presentations, conferences, seminars, and road shows
Providing ongoing service to IG Wealth Management Advisors, RVPs, Division Directors regarding capital markets, product performance, portfolio positioning, portfolio manager and sub-advisor updates
Leverage Wealth Planning Specialists, Portfolio Specialist, and Capital Markets & Strategy team to effectively educate, decipher and communicate capital markets updates and conduct in depth portfolio and product analysis
Monitor and record sales activity and feedback within the territory to identify trends and provide suggestions to retain and growth Assets under Management
Maintain accurate records within department systems

 
The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:
 

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills
Thorough knowledge of securities industry and particularly of the public and private markets and how they relate to Investment Solutions such as, mutual funds, ETFs, OMs,SMAs
Excellent knowledge of IG Wealth Management Solutions and distribution channels
 Well developed presentation skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to schedule time to work on the business
Ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to inquiries and servicing of Advisors
Good knowledge of all Microsoft suite of products and Salesforce
Successful completion of CSC or IFIC. CIM, CIMA, CFA, CFP are assets but not required
Minimum of 2 years of financial industry experience
Limited travel required
