The Role
Reporting to the AVP, Product Marketing, the Manager, Product Marketing will be focused on the Investment business lines. They will be responsible for the planning and oversight in developing and implementing strategic product-focused marketing initiatives, campaigns and programs. It involves proactive ownership, independent drive, team-based collaboration, as well as a proven results-driven approach to successfully promote IGWM products and solutions.
Major responsibilities include:
Assist in developing positioning, collateral and tools that best position IGWM products to existing and potential clients.
Drive the creation and execution of marketing assets, namely communications, collateral, digital assets, etc. to support growth.
Identifying and creating tactical plans to turn strategic marketing plans, inclusive of content, campaigns, editorial, digital, media and internal/external communications.
Forging and maintaining close relationships with key business partners inside IG Wealth Management to foster understanding of different parts of the business and their priorities, and ensure a smooth, cooperative and coordinated delivery of marketing initiatives.
Define and deliver on a clear product marketing strategy aligned to business priorities.
Maintain and continue to enhance a defined suite of support material, ensuring timely updates and a consistent brand format to support client conversations and business growth.
Partner with the different lines of business to build, test and execute programs to drive conversion, adoption, and growth.
Understand Mortgage, Insurance, Investments and Banking customers and communicate needs, buying journeys and opportunities.
Translates the client experience strategy into tactical plans for our product line up, including new asset development to facilitate memorable client experiences.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of five years in Product or Marketing role within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Investments and Asset Management.
Superior strategic planning, marketing and communications capabilities.
Proven success working with sales distribution and product teams.
Strong relationship management and influencing skills at multiple levels.
Ability to work both strategically and at a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” level to get things done
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
Education:
A University degree with an emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration or Economics.
