DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Region Office Operations Division is responsible for providing operational and administrative support services to members of the Advisor network in Region and Division offices across the country. 
 
WHAT WE OFFER: We offer a standard in-office, 37.5 hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Along with a competitive base salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on the achievement of corporate goals and personal objectives. POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator, Regional Office Operations serves as the primary point of contact, delivering services to both internal and external clients of IG Wealth Management. This role involves welcoming clients at reception, addressing inquiries related to key business transactions, and handling general administrative and facility support tasks. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception Duties: Welcoming clients and office members, managing incoming calls, and overseeing supply inventory.

Mail and Courier Management: Handling receipt, preparation, and distribution of mail and couriers.

Meeting Room and Facilities Support: Arranging meeting rooms, setting up technology, maintaining office equipment, and conducting regular facilities reviews.

Advisor Network Support: Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and resources, including training on digital tools.

Onboarding and Training: Assisting with onboarding new members, system training, form information, office procedures, escalation support, and general inquiries.

Administrative Support: Offering additional administrative assistance to the Manager, Region Office Operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of administrative and reception experience preferably in the Financial Services industry

Post-secondary education in a business discipline is an asset

Position (details)
The AVP – Portfolio Manager for the SMA (Separately Managed Account) Program is responsible for leading the strategic oversight, development and execution of investment portfolios within the SMA platform. This role ensures alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and firm-wide investment philosophy. The AVP will collaborate with internal stakeholders across investment management, distribution, compliance, and operations to deliver high-quality, customized portfolio solutions. 
 
The position requires strong analytical capabilities, deep market knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement in portfolio construction and performance.  The Individual will work closely within the product and national sales to promote and increase program growth with IG Advisors.
 
Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management & Oversight

Serve as Overlay Portfolio Manager for SMA program
Lead ongoing SMA model management and trading
Monitor model alignment and make tactical adjustments as needed

Platform Development & Innovation

Partner with product, tech, and ops to enhance SMA capabilities
Drive automation, scalability, and client experience improvements
Lead/support strategic platform growth initiatives

Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and client mandates
Contribute to investment committee reviews and reporting
Maintain audit-ready records and support compliance efforts
Manage proxy voting and corporate actions

Sales & Advisor Engagement

Provide portfolio insights and performance commentary
Participate in sales meetings and advisor training
Respond to advisor inquiries with tailored portfolio solutions

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.  Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance) or CFA Charterholder preferred.
7+ years of experience in investment management, portfolio construction, or SMA program.   Relevant Investment Management Experience preferred.
Qualifications : CFA, CIM or Registered as Advising Representative (PM) or Associate Advising Representative preferred.
Strong understanding of capital markets, asset allocation, and portfolio management
Experience with SMA platform development or enhancements

High level knowledge of how financial transactions are calculated or reported / and or expertise in transaction processing.
Independent and adaptive learner with analytical skills to support multiple IGM applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel (advanced), MS Access)
Knowledge of SQL or VBA scripts is an asset.
Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds course/Operations Course or the Canadian Securities Course is an asset.

Role Overview:The Dedicated Advice Channel provides superior financial planning, advice, and well-being for mass affluent Canadians. In this role you will be part of the IG Wealth Management. The Area Leader is responsible for long-term growth, advisor productivity, and overall business results.
Responsibilities:Talent acquisition

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit and onboard high performing advisors focused on clientservice excellence through financial planning

Coaching and performance management

Effectively train, coach and mentor Advisors to successfully service and grow client relationships.Coach to the use of Living Plan Portal (LPP) and other IGWM tools to optimize the client experience and business results
Ensure service standards are followed as part of both the client transition process and ongoing client service

Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist plays an integral role in supporting advisors in servicing the needs of advisor and clients and manage escalations, exceptions, and inquiries.  This role is responsible for managing complex cases and making critical and time sensitive decisions that will enhance client satisfaction by using acquired experience, resources, and precedents. The Senior Specialist will act as a critical liaison between clients/advisors, other internal departments, and other WMO &ECC operations team members as well as coordinate the timely execution of escalated cases by triaging cases, escalating directly with other financial institutions, completing root cause analysis, and providing feedback to internal partners to further enhance processes, procedures, and coaching. 
 
Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate any work performed by other service departments (Region Office Operations, Operations Services, Brokerage Operations, Legal, Compliance, etc.) and ensure appropriate service levels are provided to avoid financial losses and reputational damage.
Provide personalized assistance and administrative support on requirements, forms and submission methods, schedule and facilitate a pre-submission full review meeting for extensive assistance to advisors and their teams, pre and post submission of their requests. Proactively communicate with the advisor’s team regarding NIGO (fully review NIGOs to determine if valid or can be resolved internally and support advisor through the resolution process), status updates, follow-ups, and confirmation upon completion of all transactions. Proactively anticipate service concerns and work with colleagues to develop solutions.
Proactively escalate by calling or meeting with external business partners and other financial institutions for quick resolution.
Conduct research & analysis of complex and/or escalated issues to determine the best course of action for resolution.
Analyze the root cause of errors and trends to proactively implement changes to improve overall client satisfaction.
Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy and efficiency of processing.

Provide feedback to leadership team on the knowledge & skills of the team members.
Communicate with internal and external business partners to explain current functions, procedures, policy, and problem resolution.
Maintain broad knowledge of business policy & procedures and participate in relevant training and development opportunities.

 
Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a related field
Knowledge of core products, services, policies & procedures for investment offerings
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to articulate relevant information and direction in an organized and concise manner.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong PC skills and practical experience with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Advanced knowledge of internal systems (All digital tools: SAS, DCA, TREX, Transact, Salesforce (Advisor Portal, Digital Forms, DocuSign), Platform Zero.) and proven desire and ability to learn quickly.
