Position
We are currently hiring an intern looking for a winter term position, January to April 2025 in our Toronto Office. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Head of Strategy & Business Operations
Maintaining and creating presentations
Assist in building business case studies for strategic initiatives under review
Perform market research for effective implementation and communication
Requirements:
Registered students returning to school in a relevant field (BCom, BA, etc.)
Proficient working with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills
Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines
Attention to detail, error & inefficiencies when looking at big picture projects

Position Details:
The successful candidate will support the Mortgage Operations department, which is responsible for the overall development, management, and promotion of IG Wealth Management’s array of mortgage products. Tasks this role could be involved with include:
Assist with various projects underway in support of Mortgage initiatives, product development/ enhancements and process improvements.
Assist with development for training/procedural documents, and maintenance of existing materials.
Support the maintenance & testing of mortgage related business forms and templates.
Assists with updates and maintenance of mortgage content on various platforms.
Support the development and enhancement of reporting, analytics, tools & templates.
Assist with execution of test plans for various systems.
Provide support to management within Mortgages team as required.
Support BAU activities
Requirements:
Ability to organize priorities to meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, continuously evolving workplace.

The Architecture and Technology Innovation team at IGM is made up of dedicated leaders who establish a set of technical patterns and standards to provide a foundation to enable modern, simple, digitized processes in support of changing business needs and strategy over time. The Architects and Analysts in the Architecture and Technology Innovation team collaborate with our Corporate, Digital, Infrastructure, Delivery and Operations teams to understand the foundational technology needs that will support IGM’s business strategy and the delivery of required platforms and solutions.
