Responsibilities:

Provides confidential senior level administrative support services to the Regional Vice President

Maintains appointment schedules and coordinates meetings (in person or virtual)

Manages email inbox and completes/actions tasks on RVP’s behalf

Proactively monitors calendar

Providing support and acting as a resource on assignments

Provides status reports on projects and other matters, tracks issues; prepares meeting packages and agenda, action lists, and minutes (as required); organizes documentation

Support and management of technology adoption

Prepares correspondence, reports and presentations.

Co-ordinating travel arrangements and preparing expense reports

Provide sales, process, marketing, and administrative support to the RVP and the entire region

Supports business development and marketing activities and strategies as required

Helps the execution of region client events (both virtual and in person)

Facilitating and follow up on Private Wealth Planning Experience (PWPE) cases by pulling documentation and completing intake forms, ensuring appropriate reviews/calls are scheduled (engage necessary stakeholders when required) and track and follow-up to ensure case and outcomes are completed in a timely manner

Must develop a strong working knowledge of Salesforce and be competent in running reports related to advisor and region activity (i.e. BID reports, Client Acquisition, unbundled Progress, LPP Progress)

Supports and collaborates with all levels of regional leadership (RVP, DMs), employees (regional office, compliance, marketing, etc.) and advisors, in many cases across multiple locations.

Region Office support including:

Collaboration with Region Operations team to set up workspaces and equipment requirements and support facility management & workplace health & safety.

Provides back up to region office reception duties as needed

Coordinates and helps to organize special projects, region meetings, events & conferences.

Managing region budgets & finances.

Supports RVP in:

establishing a respectful workplace and promoting/creating a diverse and inclusive culture

Community support and involvement

Building a strong compliance culture

Ensuring adherence to corporate policies

Qualifications:

Business Administration Diploma or other Postsecondary degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent experience, in addition to a minimum 5+ years administrative experience preferably in a sales or financial services industry

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and clientele

Service oriented with strong relationship management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a great team

Ability to handle confidential information in a tactful and professional manner

Exceptional technology skills and digital savvy; able to support a digital environment, utilizing technology for document management, team collaboration, etc. required

Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Power Point, Teams) at the advanced level, specific to PowerPoint using info graphics; intermediate Excel

Flexible and able to perform in a fast paced, changing environment

Outstanding organizational, planning and prioritization skills, and ability to multi-task to manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously is required

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a Fall term position, September to December 2025 in Winnipeg (opportunity to extend the term longer).  Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after the internship are eligible to apply.

 

The Community Engagement position is an ideal fit for someone looking to gain experience in various areas of community engagement including philanthropic programs and partnerships, fundraising and employee engagement campaigns, impact communications, and more.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist with the execution of charitable and employee events, including coordinating vendors and volunteers.

Manage communications and support content creation.

Assist with community impact tracking.

Collaborate with the internal stakeholders and key charity partners.

Monitor mailbox inquiries and take on other administrative and coordination tasks as required.

 

Requirements:

Registered students returning to school in a related field (BCom, BA, etc.)

Ability to work well in a team environment

The Expense Management team is an integral part of the IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis function. This team handles planning and forecasting, expense management and reporting of expenses and FTEs and month-end close activities.

 

The Senior Financial Analyst, Expense Management role involves supporting Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful financial planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of financial forecasts and annual plans.

Analyze financial results and provide variance commentaries.

Support month-end close activities.

Qualifications:

Position:

The Director Strategic Sourcing provides leadership to strategic sourcing functions who administer sourcing strategies and activities while collaborating with Business Units, Third-Party Governance and Accountable Executives. This role leads functional areas that provide procurement’s Strategy and Vision, Program Planning, Supplier Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Development and Management, and Talent and People Management.

The Director plays a pivotal role in performing the initial risk review and triage of supplier engagement requests submitted through the Procurement Intake process and ensures that appropriate stakeholders are engaged based on the resulting risk profile.

When required, the Director will develop complete and comprehensive strategic sourcing packages for deals that are confidential and/or highly strategic with enterprise-wide impact.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight

Procurement Strategy & Vision

Collaborate with Procurement and Business Unit Leadership to:

Develop and implement the department’s strategic vision, establish goals, objectives, and budget

Leads the development of sourcing / procurement strategies leveraging market trends to meet objectives of each procurement activity

Provides advisory support to the Business Units relating to sourcing strategies, market research, spend analytics and contract obligations

Analyzes and understands all potential risks at the category /supplier level that can put safety, compliance, or public relations image at risk and develops appropriate mitigation strategies

Continuously support and contribute to the development of innovative procurement strategies to drive continuous improvement and client value

Leads and drives Sustainable Procurement and Supplier Diversity Programs. Participates in IGM committees supporting ESG goals and objectives.

Monitor and identify potential new entrants and non-traditional vendors

Provides monthly savings reporting and other key KPI’s and metrics to Procurement Leaders. Validates savings reductions with Finance. 

Ensure integration across all procurement functions; enables the seamless movement of tasks and activities

Implement leading-edge procurement practices aligned with Procurement’s Operating model to support achievement of Procurement’s mandates

 

Category Management

Develop and execute overall strategy for the lateral category management function including strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and development, contract management, vendor development and performance management

Establish and develop an appropriate operating model and team structure within procurement functions defining category ownership and interface with other Business Units and across procurement functions

Establish the governance model between various procurement functions including program planning, and performance

 

Strategic Sourcing

Interacts with the Business Units to develop business requirements for RFX / competitive bid processes on highly strategic deals; where appropriate, provides subject matter expertise advisory support on specifications for all deal complexities / dollar values 

Leads internal resources and client groups in supporting the development of a sourcing strategy or planning of a sourcing exercise and ensuring alignment with the overall category/deal strategy across Procurement’s entire spend portfolio

Leads and manages the RFx deal team of Procurement resources and internal client groups in preparation of RFX / competitive bid documents and evaluation criteria based on internal customer requirements, available templates, and category/deal expertise for strategic enterprise deals

Manages the evaluation of RFX responses against a set of pre-defined criteria, including management of Business Unit responses for strategic enterprise deals

Collaborates with client groups in recommending and providing decisions on optimal vendors that best meet the evaluation criteria and objectives of the business

Provides ongoing coaching and oversight on the execution of all deals managed by the Strategic Sourcing team

Manages the resolution of complex issues with suppliers and internal Business Units

 

Contract Development

Provides advice to the Business Units and coaches the Strategic Sourcing Team on contract management activities and embeds leading industry practices

Coaches Business Units contract owners and the Strategic Sourcing Team to drive performance and compliance of contracts

Leads the interactions between vendor and client groups to draft, negotiate and finalize contract based on the sourcing event outcomes for complex strategic enterprise deals

Collaborates with Business Units in seeking proactive resolution of contractual disputes, manages variations and performance issues

 

Talent & People Management

Direct management of Senior Strategic Sourcing Managers and interns

Ensures performance objectives are clearly defined and articulated for all team members

Provides timely and comprehensive feedback on staff performance during review periods

Retains quality people; develops a team of professionals by cross-training, coaching, and mentoring

Leads development plan for closing competency gaps and the development and deployment of procurement training to improve capabilities
