Position
We are currently hiring an intern looking for a winter term position, January to April 2026, in our Winnipeg office.  Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after the internship to be eligible to apply. This position is responsible for supporting the Data Science team in Analytics and Data Engineering tasks. The student will assist in developing datasets, models, and reports which are used to understand our business and meet strategic objectives. This position provides a great opportunity for a university student to gain practical experience in the fields of AI and Data Science.
 
Responsibilities: 

Primary focus will be on ad-hoc projects or support of organizational projects in-flight 

Produce documentation.  Ex; how-to guides, communication 

Analysis of documents, datasets 

Coordinate activities, meetings, tasks with internal team members 
Data analysis of semi-structured data

 
Requirements: 

Pro-active, problem-solving attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure 

Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environments 

Desire to always make things better  

Keep abreast of developments in field (e.g., through reading, internet, discussions, experiments with new techniques and tools) 

Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
Understanding of testing practices 

Well-organized 

Structured thinking 

 
Preferred

Familiarity with PowerBI
Experience with structuring AI prompts and Automation, especially with MS tooling

Job Summary
The Senior Security Platform Specialist will be a technical lead the cybersecurity strategy and operations related to application and data protection, and cloud security services. This role involves understanding the details as it relates to the implementation and management of advanced security technologies, including but not limited to, Web Application, API and Email Security, CASB, CNAPP, and SSPM, ensuring the protection of the organization’s digital assets and sensitive information.
This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise and management acumen to safeguard the organization’s technology assets. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing and building engineering solutions for application, cloud, and data security.
Key Responsibilities: Application, Cloud and Data Security Services

Contribute to maintaining and evolving practices in Cybersecurity Services and Delivery

Support the roadmap and delivery of cybersecurity strategies to protect applications and data across the organization, aligning to owned Cybersecurity Services
Support strategy, execution, and ongoing maturity of comprehensive cybersecurity capabilities for Cybersecurity Application, Cloud and Data Security Services.
Manage and oversee the services and integration across and within other systems, while maintaining a foundational understanding of how our products and services work and are most effectively used
Research and stay current of existing services and features with the mindset continuous improvement, cost-effectiveness and efficiency

 

Inter-team coordination and relationship building with Business and Technology teams

Build strong relationships with various lines of business and become a trusted partner across the organization, with a positive and welcoming attitude
Keep team members and stakeholders informed on scoped and planned work

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or similar job experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and Information Security
In-depth knowledge of WAF, API, Application and Email Security, DLP, CASB, CNAPP, and SSPM technologies
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards
Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a technology delivery environment where funds/resources/time constraints create challenges to be balanced
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry regulations

Additional Requirements:

Pro-active, problem-solving attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure
Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) AND waterfall delivery methodologies
