Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Human Resources Technology Adoption Intern to join our HR team for a winter term position, from January to May in our Winnipeg or Toronto Office (hybrid work environment). Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

 

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of AI in HR systems, tools, and processes, with a focus on increasing efficiency through technology. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of HR and technology, supporting efficiencies through automation and the integration of AI solutions. 

 

Responsibilities:

Support Technology Adoption & Implementation: 

Assist in the deployment and optimization of AI in HR systems and tools, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives. 

Support the integration of Microsoft 365 tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to enhance HR operations. 

Identify opportunities for automation within HR processes, reducing manual tasks and improving overall efficiency. 

AI & Generative Models: 

Leverage generative AI models to develop innovative solutions for HR challenges, such as improving data management, employee engagement, and talent acquisition processes. 

Collaborate with the HR and IT teams to explore the potential of AI in transforming HR functions, particularly in areas like predictive analytics, chatbot implementation, and personalized employee experiences. 

Training & Support: 

Develop and deliver training materials to HR staff on new AI systems, tools, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and usage. 

Provide ongoing support to HR team members, addressing technical issues and ensuring they are equipped to maximize the benefits of new technologies. 

Communication & Documentation:

Draft clear and concise documentation for new processes, tools, and system implementations. 

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively, both verbally and in writing. 

 

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.

Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.

Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI models.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to diverse audiences.

Proactive, detail-oriented, a problem solver who is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.
