DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: IG Wealth Connect is a strategic area within Financial Services Distribution. The IG Wealth Connect is responsible for managing, servicing and providing financial planning advice to a segment of IG Wealth Management clients nationally. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Specialist will provide continual support to IG Wealth Connect Advisors and clients by providing enhanced administrative support, demonstrating strong customer and relationship management skills and acting as first point of operational support for both financial and non-financial transactions. They will identify solutions and make appropriate decisions that result in producing high quality work. Working in a fast-paced environment, their main responsibility is to handle all supporting paperwork, inquiries and problems accurately, professionally and effectively through acquired product knowledge of the corporate policies and procedures.
 
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Client servicing and administration – guide and offer support to Advisors through administration related to orders and answer account inquiries and business submission methods. Activities include updating account information, processing non-financial requests, quality control, responding to service requests, communicating with customers, follow up, and adjustments.
Communicates regularly with IG Wealth Connect clients to resolve issues, answer questions, and strengthen the client relationship and experience.
Constantly adapting to new priorities by remaining nimble and agile in a fast-paced work environment and having a growth mindset in the face of challenges.
Receive and respond to incoming contacts via e-mail, phone, web and fax from Advisors clients, other business units.
Determine the best course of action and ensure completion of action has met established standards.
Take independent action to research escalated situations, offer alternatives and solutions, and provide feedback to Advisors and/or process improvements that will maximize the administrative process.
Communicate with other business units to ensure client inquiries and concerns are resolved in a timely manner and act as liaison between related business units.
Maintain knowledge of basic policy and procedure in the following areas: IGFS, IGSI, IIROC, IGFS Nominee, Mortgage, and AFP.
Manage escalations – review each issue with consideration, collaboration with other business unit, initiate appropriate action to be taken to resolve the issue in a timely efficient manner.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 plus years in a diverse customer service focused role, with front line client service and working with mutual funds/other investments experience.
Post-secondary degree/diploma in a business discipline with relevant securities or financial services courses.
Excellent inter-personal and proven client service skills.
Well demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel, Access and email.
Strong investigative and decision-making abilities.
Bilingual (French/English) written and verbal communication is required.

 
Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled End-User Compute Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-user computing solutions with a focus on Windows 11, vulnerability remediation, M365 collaborative tool hardening, and supporting employee technology experience. This role requires a deep understanding of end-user computing technologies, security best practices, and the ability to enhance the overall technology experience for employees.
Role

Lead the development of the Detailed Blueprints (high/low-level Solution Architecture).
Develop the Solution Architecture artifacts (i.e., ADRs, Detailed Blueprint, Data Flow Diagrams, Service Design Templates, etc.) in collaborations with subject matter experts from all the delivery towers that would be responsible to build out the end-to-end solution.
Provide technical direction and support for the technology sub towers within technology for the delivery of any specific solution.
Ensure approved direction on project scope and delivery methodology is followed.

Responsibilities

In collaboration Application Architecture or Service owners, consolidate requirements across all infrastructure groups.
Include Enterprise Architecture principles, patterns, policies and any standards into requirements and then create the detailed blueprint.
The detailed blueprint is intended to be as complete or prescriptive as possible.
Where services are undocumented or new, the S.A. will work with the respective service owners to document that part of the solution.
This could involve multiple service owners: Security, and other Architectures withing the IGM.
Document any deviations or exceptions and/or make recommendations to modify or amend existing EA guidelines when required.
Identify/escalate technical risk areas, document mitigation strategies, and prepare the security risk exemption documentation for review.
Works with Delivery Leads/Project Managers to help define the delivery approach that recommends how solution will be implemented.
Participate in the development of Project Charters and documentation of Jira based tasks specific to the solution development as well as review Jira based tasks in other delivery boards to ensure scope is fully covered.
Provides hands on support when items fall through the crack with the intent to have sub towers execute their work and be responsible to transition to operations in a supportable, secure, and fully documented manner.
Present the design through the Architecture Governance framework.
Produce/update technical issue log.
Review test strategy and test execution results and provide sign-off.
Oversee production implementation and support escalations/issues during warranty period.

Key Responsibilities:
Windows 11 Management

Design, deploy, and manage Windows 11 environments.
Ensure seamless upgrades and migrations from previous versions of Windows.
Optimise Windows 11 performance and user experience on virtual and physical platforms

Vulnerability Remediation

Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in end-user computing environments.
Implement security patches and updates to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

M365 Collaborative Tool Hardening

Enhance the security and functionality of M365 collaborative tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Implement best practices for data protection and access control.
Monitor and manage M365 tool usage to ensure optimal performance and security.

Employee Technology Experience

Support and improve the overall technology experience for employees.
Provide technical guidance and support for end-user computing issues.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee productivity through technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an End-User Compute Architect or similar role: 5+ years technical leadership positions.
Expertise in Windows 11 management and deployment.
Strong knowledge of vulnerability remediation and security best practices.
Experience with M365 collaborative tools and their security features.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CISSP).
 Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g., Azure, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Git).

Department Overview:
As part of Operations Support Services within Enterprise Operations Enablement, the Knowledge Management (KM) team serves as a Center of Excellence (COE) for content management. It supports IGM Operations and collaborates with other divisions to establish best practices and governance frameworks for knowledge and content management.
 
The KM domain is becoming increasingly sophisticated, driven by the evolving capabilities of AI and the advancement of content management systems. These technologies are integrated across all phases of content governance – including curation, editing, approval and monitoring, enhancing functionality and strategy.
 
Position Overview:
This position is instrumental in aligning knowledge management practices with business priorities and operational strategies. The role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional with deep expertise in Knowledge Management and a strong technical acumen.
 
It involves day-to-day support of content governance, continuous improvement of content management systems (Sierra), and the development of processes that enhance operational efficiency and employee enablement.
 
Responsibilities:

Content Curation and Editing – Provide guidance to IGM Operations in curating content to ensure alignment of quality standards. Leverages data and analytics to assess content performance and recommend improvements to increase user engagement. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content meets established standards.

Management of Content Management System (CMS) – Responsible for the management and maintenance of the CMS platform. Advise on and implement best practices in information architecture, taxonomy development and user permissions. Offer guidance and direction to content stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective use of the CMS.

Trends and Technologies – Stays informed on trends and technologies in knowledge and content management. Ensures alignment with industry best practices and divisional goals to enhance the user experience.

Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Content Planning – Establish strong relationships with content stakeholders to ensure KM content strategies are aligned with business priorities. Provide KM consulting, offering tailored advice and actionable recommendations to business partners. Represent the KM function as a SME on cross-department working groups and projects.
Collaboration & Facilitation – Facilitate communities of practice to uncover business needs and opportunities. Deliver training sessions on content management tools, and best practices. Translate KM concepts into clear, actionable guidance that resonates with diverse stakeholder groups.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Technical Communication, Knowledge Management or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in content editing, creation, technical writing or content strategy
Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
Advanced proficiency in Content Management Systems, such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Adobe Experience Manager, including workflow and publishing processes
Functional knowledge of HTML and web publishing standards
Ability to analyze content performance using tools such as Adobe Analytics
