IG Wealth Management is currently accepting applications for the position of District Vice-President (Wholesaler) in Montreal (QC), reporting to the VP, Head of National Sales.

 

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Service IG Wealth Management Advisors in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, focusing on generating sales from new and existing Advisors

• Conducting ongoing office sales calls to ensure continued support for IG Wealth Management products

• Identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships accordingly and responding to the specific needs of new and existing accounts

• Preparing and conducting sales and training presentations on subjects including new and existing IG Wealth Management products, market position, and economic and market outlook as it pertains to IG Wealth Management products and subadvisors

• Providing feedback on the concerns and needs expressed by Advisors and sharing sales and product ideas with the sales team

• Working with the Business Development Manager (Internal Wholesaler) to maximize sales potential by delegating projects and coordinating workload with them

• Manage territory expenses appropriately, to ensure the territory’s budget is on target. This includes co-op, travel, promotional items, and entertainment

• Requires frequent travel

 

The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:

• Dynamic and effective communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to captivate small and large audiences

• Superior ability to establish, build, and maintain strong relationships

• Well-developed presentation skills

• Creative thinker with the ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to questions and making decisions

• Team Player who works cooperatively with the Sales, Product and Marketing teams and other areas to meet our customers’ needs

• Excellent knowledge of Industry products/services and our distribution channels

• Thorough knowledge of the securities industry and the stock and bond markets

• Post-secondary education (business and/or marketing preferred)

• Successful completion of IFIC and/or CSC

• Enrolment or completion of financial industry related accreditation, such as CFA, CIM, CFP, would be considered an asset 

 

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients et Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team at IG Wealth Management as an Investment Operations Support Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key role in managing and administering processes, most of which are automated. You will review and approve client investment transactions while contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes. Your responsibilities will include account opening, client onboarding, investment transactions, and various other account administration tasks.
 

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
 

Main Responsibilities:

Review and approve client investment transactions

Provide support for client account administration and client onboarding processes

Manage investment transactions and other account administration tasks

Contribute to the management and improvement of operational processes

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Proficiency in French and English (bilingual)

Work in the office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in using web systems and applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in business operations or a related field is an asset
