Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring seamless integration across platforms within a large-scale infrastructure environment. This role involves configuring and supporting third-party systems, liaising with SaaS providers and external vendors to troubleshoot connectivity issues, optimizing performance, and maintaining clear, impactful documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and a highly analytical mindset. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential for fostering collaboration across teams and delivering optimal system performance.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, support, and maintain third-party systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration.

Act as a liaison between SaaS systems, third-party vendors, and internal teams to troubleshoot connectivity and application issues.

Serve as a project resource, assisting in the transition of applications into the support team.

Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to diagnose and resolve system issues.

Analyze, optimize, and improve existing integrations and workflows.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across integrations.

Support activities, including production deployment and maintenance phases, ensuring comprehensive documentation and orientation for Production Services teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Networking & Security: Comprehensive understanding of networking basics (types of networks, protocols, network devices) and security fundamentals, including firewalls, encryption, and modern authentication methods.

Infrastructure & Cloud Technologies: Experience with DNS, Active Directory, Unix/Linux and MS Windows server administration, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). Strong dedication to staying updated with current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Experience implementing and supporting new application technologies in large-scale infrastructure environments, including on-premises and hosted solutions.

File Transfer Systems: Advanced knowledge of SSH/SFTP protocols, key exchange mechanisms, file encryption algorithms (e.g., PGP), and managed file transfer services (e.g., Vshell, MOVEit, Sterling B2B Integrator).

Middleware: Understanding of web services administration (IIS, Tomcat, WAS) and certificates.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Proven ability to analyze complex system interactions, identify root causes, and implement solutions efficiently. Excellent analytical skills to address system-level challenges and optimize workflows.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Superior communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and independently, with a strong customer service orientation and ability to write clear, meaningful documentation.

Technical Curiosity & Innovation: Track record of identifying improvements, automating workflows, and enhancing system efficiency. Positive attitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly while leveraging internal consulting skills to drive innovation.

Assets:

Experience integrating APIs and working with RESTful/SOAP services.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline processes.

Understanding of system monitoring tools and logging frameworks

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:

IG Wealth Connect is a strategic area within Financial Services Distribution. IG Wealth Connect is responsible for managing, servicing and providing financial planning advice to a segment of IG Wealth Management clients nationally. IG Wealth Connect is servicing accounts nationally.

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Advisor will provide financial planning advice and ongoing client servicing to a segment of client accounts nationally. The Advisor will ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to in all their activities. This position is also responsible for delivering financial planning advice and an outstanding client experience.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Manage day-to-day priorities servicing inbound/outbound client, proactive campaigns and retention activities.

Provide financial planning advice – assist with estate planning, debt management, insurance and mortgage.

Meet all standards of financial planning and advice and ensure regulatory guidelines are adhered to during all interactions.

Manage escalations – review each issue with consideration, collaborate with other business units, initiate appropriate action to be taken to resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Contribute to departmental initiatives – participate in growth of our share of wallet and implementation of IG Wealth Connect strategies. 

Responsible for servicing activities for registered and non-registered accounts. Activities include updating account information, processing financial and non-financial requests, quality control, responding to service requests, follow up and adjustments.                                    

Ensure procedural, regulatory, compliance and departmental policies are followed.

Identify opportunities for business and process improvements and implement changes as developed by management team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to multi-task in an extremely diverse fast-paced environment.

Solution oriented, an excellent problem solver with proficiency in financial planning.

Performance-driven high achiever with great sales skills.

Mutual fund, mortgage and/or insurance industry background, including product knowledge, processing and compliance.

Post-Secondary or equivalent in business or a relevant field. IFIC Mutual Fund or Canadian Securities Course. Certified Financial Planner designation is an asset.

Fully bilingual in English and French is mandatory. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).

Strong awareness of respectful workplace policies, ensuring an inclusive professional environment.

Minimum of 4 years experience in the financial services industry.

Practical experience with a CRM and the Office Suite.

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/or outside the province of Quebec.
