Qualifications:

Completion of CSC or CFP preferred.
Interest in financial services, with preference to individuals with a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant business discipline. (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce)
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
Ability to self-motivate, manage time-sensitive deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in changing priorities.
Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications and Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.  This includes the ability to create and produce presentations and reports using the most up to date technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Position

Accountable for the overall business results of licensed employee advisors, including meeting targets for investments, mortgages and insurance.  
Managing the transition of clients from the entrepreneurial channel to the Corporate Channel with a focus on client experience and retention.
Supporting the Senior Distribution and Region Leadership teams in segmentation conversations with Advisors in their Regions.   
Developing, communicating, and driving sales, retention and growth outcomes.
Promoting the adoption of new business tools and processes.   
Ensuring the fulfillment of client’s financial planning goals through cross-selling (mortgage and insurance opportunities).

 
Distribution Leadership Team and Strategic Implementation 
As a key member of the National Distribution team, you will be accountable for the growth of the IG Dedicated Channel. Responsibilities include:

Building and managing relationships across the organization with key stakeholders (Distribution, Technology, Compliance, Marketing, and Human Resources). 
Partnering with Senior Distribution Leadership, Private Wealth Management Leadership and Regional Vice Presidents to achieve the strategic direction of the Corporate Channel.   
Collaborating with the VP, Western Canada and Quebec and VP IG Wealth Connect to achieve the overall growth, engagement and planning outcomes of the Corporate Channel. 

 
Employee Lifecycle, Executive Leadership and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 

Accountable for executing on all aspects of the current corporate employee life cycle including recruiting, selection, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, as well as adhering to the various legal and compliance requirements. Responsibilities include: 

Promoting and creating a culture of engagement for both employees and clients 
Creating a diverse and inclusive workspace, culture, and environment. 
Providing coaching and feedback to the leadership team to support employee development. 

 
Requirements: 

Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and coaching advisors. 
Previous experience in establishing a new sales function and success in implementing change management initiatives. 
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, understand implications of decisions, translate concepts into practical applications.
Ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced multiple priority environment. 
Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic group, with high levels of initiative, accountability, and an agile mindset towards innovation and change. 
Knowledge of Wealth Management distribution, financial planning, products, policies, and processes.
Ability to lead and influence collaboration across multiple business and functional areas. 
Innovative problem-solving abilities 
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
10yrs of leading Financial Services sales experience, with proven and demonstrated results, growing a business or function
Post secondary education (Honours, bachelor’s or master’s degree)
