The Role:

As a member of our Corporate Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. 

 

This role works closely with business sponsors and business representatives to capture the system’s objectives, evaluate the business requirements, and define solutions that are in alignment with the organizational system architecture. This role works with the Delivery Leader and Project Managers, Systems Architects, System Configurators, Software Developers and Quality Management in a shared responsibility for project evaluation, quality, and completion. Involvement with small to large scale projects involving multiple business areas as well as internal and external partners is anticipated.  The role will require a strong understanding of the high-level complexity across business areas where both the impact and risk associated are high.

 

The successful candidate will be working on our Human Capital Management (HCM) team and will be responsible for soliciting and documenting system requirements, following the software development life cycle.  Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset for this position, including SAP ECC for HR and Payroll, SuccessFactors modules, Qualtrics analyzing and configuring SAP ECC and SuccessFactors HR modules; specifically, Employee Central (SuccessFactors), Payroll and Time Management (SAP ECC) and variable incentive compensation (Specialized Incentive Planning Tool – ICM). Detailed knowledge of impacts to payroll processes, and integration to SuccessFactors Employee Central functionality is required.

 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Hands-on configuration of SAP ECC, SuccessFactors-HR, and ICM variable pay modules to meet business requirements

Liaises with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business objectives to design the solution that will meet their decision support and management reporting needs 

Defines and communicates systems requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure applications are flexible, open, scalable, available, testable, and maintainable within a high-volume production environment 

Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the solution, working with the Systems Architect, Vendors, Software Developer and Testing Team to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology. 

Applies both in-depth HR business and technical knowledge, to successfully represent the business and technology community in arriving at technical solutions

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following core competencies and experience:

Strong experience in configuring SAP HCM modules: Time Management, Payroll (Canada), OM, PA, Benefits

3+ years’ experience working with business principles and a broad range of different types of business functions.

Strong understanding of IS Methodologies, processes, and practices.

Excellent understanding of Payroll and Time Schemas

Strong understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central and ECC data Replication

Demonstrated ability to provide and effectively communicate technology recommendations to the business 

Experience working with developers to design and analyze alternative technical solutions, test completed code, and complete a smooth implementation with business partners 

Proficient analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills 

Advanced knowledge, experience, and understanding of architecture, application development, application systems design, integration, and testing

SQL skills and experience performing data analysis

Demonstrated proficiency in a team environment with projects involving the integration of disparate types of technologies/platforms through a mix of agile and waterfall development

Demonstrated experienced in providing operational and sustainment services and support

Proven capabilities in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and relationships 

Strong communication skills (oral, written, facilitation, presentation) and facilitation skills

Demonstrated initiative and leadership abilities – comfortable managing issues in cross functional teams 

Conflict and issue resolution and escalation 

Positive attitude, keeping a constant watch on how to do things better (continuous improvement opportunities)

Adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges

Post-secondary education and/or demonstrated experience in a related discipline

Ability to be a self-starter and to work in a team environment

 

In addition, the following competencies would be highly valued and considered more favorably:

Knowledge of the Wealth Management and the Financial Services industry

Experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA

Position: 

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a Fall term position, September to December 2025. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after the internship to be eligible to apply. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Primary focus will be on ad-hoc projects or support of organizational projects in-flight 

Produce documentation, e.g., how-to guides, communications, knowledge articles

Analysis of documents, datasets, and concise reporting on findings

The Role:

The Director, HR Business Partner is a dynamic and strategic HR leader responsible for driving and delivering HR initiatives within our Corporate Functions group, which includes Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Audit & Sustainability, and Finance. Reporting to the VP, HRBP & Talent Acquisition, this role goes beyond the traditional HRBP scope, offering the opportunity to be deeply involved in shaping the future of our HR operating model and employee experience.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the VP HRBP & Talent Acquisition on cross-functional enterprise initiatives, including; helping to inform and guide areas such as workforce planning, hybrid work strategy, leadership development, and organizational design. You’ll also play a key role in helping structure the future of the HRBP and CoE model, and championing culture and engagement initiatives that align with our transformation journey.

The successful candidate will earn and own a seat at multiple VP leadership tables across Corporate Functions. You will maintain a strong understanding of the business strategy and organizational plans, and help develop and execute the HR strategies needed to drive these forward. This includes supporting the full spectrum of the HR cycle while focusing on elevating both the employee and leadership experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with our HR Centres of Expertise (CoEs) and business leaders to deliver programs that support our talent strategy, enable organizational effectiveness, and drive business outcomes.
 

Key Areas of Impact:

Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, helping navigate complex business and talent challenges, including those related to M&A integration, operating model shifts, and hybrid work evolution.

What You Bring:

An undergraduate degree in a related discipline.

10+ years of progressive experience in HR, particularly in HR Business Partner or consulting roles.

Experience supporting senior leaders (VP/SVP) with complex organizational needs and transformations.

A track record of influencing strategic outcomes and leading cross-functional projects.

Exposure to M&A, leadership development programs, and workforce transformation is an asset.

Success Factors:
