DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Region Office Operations Division is responsible for providing operational and administrative support services to members of the Advisor network in Region and Division offices across the country. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator, Regional Office Operations serves as the primary point of contact, delivering services to both internal and external clients of IG Wealth Management. This role involves welcoming clients at reception, addressing inquiries related to key business transactions, and handling general administrative and facility support tasks.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception Duties: Welcoming clients and office members, managing incoming calls, and overseeing supply inventory.

Mail and Courier Management: Handling receipt, preparation, and distribution of mail and couriers.

Meeting Room and Facilities Support: Arranging meeting rooms, setting up technology, maintaining office equipment, and conducting regular facilities reviews.

Advisor Network Support: Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and resources, including training on digital tools.

Onboarding and Training: Assisting with onboarding new members, system training, form information, office procedures, escalation support, and general inquiries.

Administrative Support: Offering additional administrative assistance to the Manager, Region Office Operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of administrative and reception experience preferably in the Financial Services industry

Post-secondary education in a business discipline is an asset

Accountability – Results oriented, takes ownership and delivers on commitments

Communication – Clear, concise, tactful, listens actively and objectively, open and consistent communication

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Service IG Wealth Management Advisors in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, focusing on generating sales from new and existing Advisors

• Conducting ongoing office sales calls to ensure continued support for IG Wealth Management products

• Identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships accordingly and responding to the specific needs of new and existing accounts

• Preparing and conducting sales and training presentations on subjects including new and existing IG Wealth Management products, market position, and economic and market outlook as it pertains to IG Wealth Management products and subadvisors

• Providing feedback on the concerns and needs expressed by Advisors and sharing sales and product ideas with the sales team

• Working with the Business Development Manager (Internal Wholesaler) to maximize sales potential by delegating projects and coordinating workload with them

• Manage territory expenses appropriately, to ensure the territory’s budget is on target. This includes co-op, travel, promotional items, and entertainment

• Requires frequent travel

 

The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a summer term position, May to August 2025 in our Toronto Office. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

Research, build proposals/reports and present findings to senior management
