The Role:

As a member of our Corporate Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. 

 

This role works closely with business sponsors and business representatives to capture the system’s objectives, evaluate the business requirements, and define solutions that are in alignment with the organizational system architecture. This role works with the Delivery Leader and Project Managers, Systems Architects, System Configurators, Software Developers and Quality Management in a shared responsibility for project evaluation, quality, and completion. Involvement with small to large scale projects involving multiple business areas as well as internal and external partners is anticipated.  The role will require a strong understanding of the high-level complexity across business areas where both the impact and risk associated are high.

 

The successful candidate will be working on our Human Capital Management (HCM) team and will be responsible for soliciting and documenting system requirements, following the software development life cycle.  Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset for this position, including SAP ECC for HR and Payroll, SuccessFactors modules, Qualtrics analyzing and configuring SAP ECC and SuccessFactors HR modules; specifically, Employee Central (SuccessFactors), Payroll and Time Management (SAP ECC) and variable incentive compensation (Specialized Incentive Planning Tool – ICM). Detailed knowledge of impacts to payroll processes, and integration to SuccessFactors Employee Central functionality is required.

 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Hands-on configuration of SAP ECC, SuccessFactors-HR, and ICM variable pay modules to meet business requirements

Liaises with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business objectives to design the solution that will meet their decision support and management reporting needs 

Defines and communicates systems requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure applications are flexible, open, scalable, available, testable, and maintainable within a high-volume production environment 

Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the solution, working with the Systems Architect, Vendors, Software Developer and Testing Team to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology. 

Applies both in-depth HR business and technical knowledge, to successfully represent the business and technology community in arriving at technical solutions

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following core competencies and experience:

Strong experience in configuring SAP HCM modules: Time Management, Payroll (Canada), OM, PA, Benefits

3+ years’ experience working with business principles and a broad range of different types of business functions.

Strong understanding of IS Methodologies, processes, and practices.

Excellent understanding of Payroll and Time Schemas

Strong understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central and ECC data Replication

Demonstrated ability to provide and effectively communicate technology recommendations to the business 

Experience working with developers to design and analyze alternative technical solutions, test completed code, and complete a smooth implementation with business partners

Position (details)

The Specialist, IGM Strategy is a job that is a critical part of the Strategy, Planning and Analysis division within IGM Financial and is responsible for Strategy Formulation (activities include: analysis/assessment of environments, strategic plan development, identification of key initiatives), Strategy Execution, Operating Planning & Action Steps (activities include: business case development, prioritization, authorization, portfolio management) & Evaluation/Measurement (activities include: value/benefits realization framework, tracking, oversight, KPIs). 

 

The IGM Strategy team works collaboratively with leadership teams across the IGM companies ensuring activities, initiatives, spend & resources are aligned with strategic priorities and objectives, and responsive to the evolving needs of our clients and the business.

 

This position is a 10-month contract. As a valued member of the IGM Strategy team your key responsibilities will include:

 

Responsibilities:

Supporting processes by gathering and analysing project & financial information to monitor, assess and report on strategic initiatives portfolio health and performance, identifying trends and patterns in data that are subsequently used to inform decisions / action steps;

Analysing and preparing reporting, including strategic initiatives portfolio health indicators (red, amber, green project indicators), and project financials

Requirements:

Minimum three years of experience in a coordinator or project-based role, preferably in the financial services industry

The Director of Cloud Infrastructure Operations is a dynamic, service-oriented, and technically proficient leader responsible for guiding infrastructure support activities within the IGM Technology organization. DUTIES INCLUDE

Lead a team responsible for managing a critical multi-cloud, multi-vendor environment with high availability requirements.

Responsible for managing, mentoring, and fostering the career development of all team members, including overseeing team composition, skillset enhancement, hiring, motivation, retention, performance and rewards assessments, as well as development and corrective actions.

Accountable to ensure effective monitoring of service availability, responsiveness, health, security and integrity of systems; including infrastructure maintenance, patching and vulnerability management activities.

Collaborates with the AVP of Cloud Infrastructure Operations to develop and implement strategic technology initiatives, plan staffing requirements, and manage the annual operating budget for their area of responsibility, ensuring targets are achieved.

Collaborates with Engineering and Architecture leadership to drive continuous improvement of support methodologies and processes, ensuring team direction and skill development aligns with the overall enterprise infrastructure strategy.

Own and manage relationships with third-party service providers in a hybrid-outsourced environment, tracking SLA adherence and overseeing ongoing service improvement activities.

Responsible for operations focused project support with an emphasis on transition to production activities and support model development.

Establish and continually refine incident and problem management processes including root cause analysis and critical outage response capabilities.

Participate and support infrastructure security and compliance audits.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 5 – 7 years progressively more experience in an infrastructure service delivery environment, with experience in a leadership role an asset

Experience within a 24×7 production environment, preferably across multiple clouds or data centers and 3rd party service providers

Knowledge of cloud based IaaS environment management, certifications in GCP and Azure an asset

Knowledge of ITSM or ITOM activities and their role and implementation in a large corporation, applicable certifications is an asset

Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and ability to analyze trends in incident management

Role & Responsibility:

The IT Risk Manager – Risk and Controls Assurance is part of the First Line of Defense and is responsible for overseeing risk assessment, controls development, review, testing, and overall assurance. This role ensures the organization has clear visibility into the IT risk landscape, enabling informed decision-making and proactive risk mitigation. The IT Risk Manager will report to AVP, IT Risk and will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance the organization’s IT risk management framework.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment & Controls Development:

Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement effective controls to mitigate identified risks.

Review and update existing controls to ensure they remain effective and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Test controls to verify their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Reporting & Analysis:

Act as a key liaison between first-line IT risk functions and executive leadership.

Facilitate discussions on IT risk trends and issues with risk committees and board-level stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related fields.

5+ years of experience in IT risk management, IT security, compliance, risk assurance, or related fields in the financial services industry.

Strong expertise in risk assessment, controls development, testing, and overall assurance.

Knowledge of IT Risk frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards related to IT and Cyber Risk management, including emerging trends and issues (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, CIS Controls).

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Technology Resilience, is responsible for establishing the governance and continuous improvement of Technology Resilience, 1B Compliance, and Disaster Recovery (DR) practices within Infrastructure and Operations (I&O). This role will undertake transitioning the organization from a DR mindset to a comprehensive technology resilience mindset. Ensures that all DR activities align with the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Standard and compliance with OSFI guidelines (B-10, B-13, and E-21) is maintained. The Manager will lead efforts to assess and enhance the resiliency of critical systems, manage and track identified compliance gaps, and drive the transition to a more resilient operational environment. This position requires a strong focus on governance, risk management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest standards of operational continuity and regulatory compliance. Additionally, as part of the 1B Compliance responsibilities the Manager will review and assess the performance of our ITIL controls.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of the critical applications, to determine their actual resiliency against potential disruptions and disasters.
