The Team The 2023 Wildfire Recovery Surge Operations team is a small, multidisciplinary group committed to supporting communities impacted by recent wildfires and other hazards. Comprised of around eight regionally distributed members, the team collaborates closely with the coordination branch and other recovery staff to connect affected areas with provincial, federal, and NGO resources. The Community Recovery team has five regionally distributed members, and actively engages and advocates for communities affected by all hazards outside of the 2023 wildfires.
