Position:

We are currently hiring a Systems Analyst Intern looking for a term position, from September to December 2025. The Dealer Platform, under the Corporate Solutions Technology team at IGM, is a highly collaborative group that supports several areas of the business including Client Services, Product, Finance, Compliance. We also work closely with Broadridge, the vendor of our main application RBroker, to address incidents as well as enhancements.

 

As a Systems Analyst Intern, you will work with the members of our team and will have an opportunity to contribute to supporting this critical system and the delivery of technology solutions for our business partners.

 

Responsibilities:

Gain both business and technical knowledge, that is required to compete assigned tasks and define/implement solutions that meet business requirements

Investigates system issues to help determine the cause and solution options

Liaises with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and solution requirements

Collaborates with other technology team members to understand problems and formulate solutions

Maintain system documentation

Support solution development, testing and validation

Author instructional documentation to improve the team’s internal processes

Hands-on configuration of systems may be required

 

Requirements:

Enrolled in a business or technology post-secondary program

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Ability to analyze, investigate and solve problems

Ability to write and understand SQL is an asset

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Capability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and relationships

Position 

The successful candidate will join the Reporting & Analytics team within the Business Management Office. Our team provides analytical and reporting services that help assess service performance and overall user experience. We design and manage robust reporting frameworks and processes to enable effective analytics. We analyze data to identify patterns and trends, helping teams derive actionable insights. We assist in creating effective presentations to communicate these findings to various stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Contribute to designing and building our analytics solution 

Assist in designing and preparing impactful executive PowerPoint presentations  

Assist in preparing and delivering recurring operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) 

Document and improve our existing processes, and automate recurring tasks 

Modernize our SharePoint sites 

 

Requirements:  

Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI 

Knowledge of data management tools like Microsoft SQL Server and SAP HANA 

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote) 

Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes and IT Service Management tools is an asset

Position

This position is responsible for supporting the Data Science team in Analytics and Data Engineering tasks. The student will assist in developing datasets, models, and reports which are used to understand our business and meet strategic objectives. This position provides a great opportunity for a university student to gain practical experience in the fields of AI and Data Science. 

  

Responsibilities:   

Designing and developing relevant datasets, reports and analysis for operational and strategic initiatives 

Work with data from multiple sources and databases (manipulate data, prepare data for machine learning) 

Analyze structured and unstructured data, organize findings and translate into actionable insights 

Learn various modelling approaches and understand how to evaluate best performance considering model metrics and appropriateness for business interpretation 

Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure models/solutions can be deployed

Integrate and maintain DevOps tools

The Role:

Reporting to the Director, Talent and Organizational Development, the Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development will work collaboratively with the HR team and business partners to deliver programs that develop and engage our talent and enable our business performance.

This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in office) based in Toronto or Winnipeg.
 

The Senior Manager will directly contribute to:

Talent programs that enhance employee experience, for example the annual performance cycle.

Employee listening strategy, including annual engagement survey, pulse surveys and other listening methods to provide insights into the employee experience.

Workforce planning, garnering insights about our current and future workforce and working with HRBPs and other stakeholders to identify areas that require focus.

Change management initiatives to enable employee and business performance.

Organizational design work to impact organizational effectiveness.

Research and analysis on trends and implications, in partnership with other divisions in IGM and externally.

We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to join the IGM Technology – Digital team within IGM Financial. The Scrum Master will be part of an exciting new initiative focused on modernizing our Contact Centers for both Investors Group and Mackenzie Investments. The Scrum Master will work with a newly formed team, to deliver new features for our Contact Centers. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills experienced at tailoring communications for all levels of the organization including executives. A track record of successfully navigating an environment that consists of Agile, non-Agile and vendor teams is critical. The ability to take an organizational view is needed to ensure alignment between business readiness and technology, to facilitate successful Product releases.

Key Accountabilities

Partner with the Product Owner and delivery leadership to ensure feedback loops are in place and communicate the necessary information to all stakeholders, and team members (e.g. product vision, roadmap, priorities, team projections, team progress, challenges, etc.)

Support the Delivery Leader in daily delivery and execution (e.g. providing metrics to support budget management)

Build a trusting partnership with the Product Owner

Coach the Product Owner and Development Team in Product Backlog Prioritization, Story Readiness and Refinement activities

Ensure coordination of the Scrum team’s work with non-Agile delivery teams, vendors and business change management

Facilitate Scrum events, helping team to understand the purpose and value of each event, and the need to stay timeboxed

Ensure shared understanding, and open lines of communication between the Product Owner and the Development Team.

Help remove impediments to the Development Team’s progress, and work with the Scrum team, outside teams, vendors and the organization’s leadership on ways to avoid future impediments

Ensure direct and constant communication across the team, and ensure remote team members remain visible

Thoughtfully identify learning moments to educate team, stakeholders and leaders on the Scrum Pillars, Values, and framework

Encourage self-organization and cross-functionality within the Development Team
