Role & Responsibility

The Senior Security Platform Specialist is a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team responsible for operating and maintaining Identity Management, Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms for the enterprise.

 

The Senior IAM Architect will work with project teams to architect secure IAM and PAM solutions destined for multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

 

Working with business, security, and other technical team members, the IAM Architect will assist with technical security architectural requirements, design, and delivery of the SailPoint IdentityNow, Active Directory, Secrets Management and Privileged Access Management platforms. This role will lead the development of toolsets that brings centralization, security, and timely access to resources and will work closely with IAM Engineering, Operations and DevOps team members.

 

This is a deep technical, delivery and leadership-oriented role, and provides a unique opportunity to work closely with numerous business and functional areas across IGM.

Key Capabilities & Responsibilities

Define strategic security architectures across hybrid technology stacks and cloud hosted IAM, PAM and Secrets Management platforms
Act as an SME in IAM and PAM platforms on evaluating, designing, and testing solutions and technologies, aligned with the enterprise security platforms, including SailPoint IdentityNow, CyberArk PAM, HashiCorp Vault for Secrets Management, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Define solutions realizing workforce and customer IAM capabilities, develop and evolve solution architectures and designs, demonstrate solutions meet stakeholders’ requirements, and obtain approval on the architectures and designs at the architecture review board
Deliver architectures and designs in both agile and iterative waterfall project delivery models, and propose and implement enhancements to improve the viability of the solutions to meet program timelines, budget, and quality measurements
Author patterns to drive reuse of IAM, PAM and Secrets Management solutions across IGM
Be an authoritative and trusted partner with deep, practical experience in workforce and customer IAM, Secrets Management, PAM and solution architecture best practices to various business and functional areas across IGM, as well as to various risk management and governance functions
Liaise with cloud, integration, data, digital, security and infrastructure architecture, development, and engineering teams to ensure that all solution architecture views are defined and elaborated
Develop documentation, architectural, design and workflow diagrams, and test scripts
Identify and communicate high-level gaps and issues in primary functional areas
Review solutions to ensure new and existing applications are implemented to the standards utilizing the RBAC and Zero Trust Security Frameworks
Proactively identify security technology reuse goals and opportunities
Direct the research and evaluation of emerging IAM and PAM technologies, industry, and market trends; and ensure recommendations are based on business relevance, current standards and best practices, appropriate timing, and deployment
Identify potential risks of projects, document and address those risks and work with other teams to resolve issues

Implementation Experience

Must have hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale enterprise Identity Governance & Administration solutions, including Identity Management (Provisioning, Enrolment, De-provisioning), Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Identity Governance (Attestation, Re-certification, Reconciliation), Identity Federation, Single Sign-On (Desktop SSO, Web SSO, eSSO), Privileged Access/User Management (PAM/PUM), Security and IAM management for cloud based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and IDaaS, Social Login, Identity Analytics, Identity Trust Frameworks
Must have hands-on experience to install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot Identity, Access, Governance and Audit Management platforms, e.g. SailPoint IIQ IdentityNow, Azure Active Directory, Windows Active Directory, CyberArk
Strong architecture experience with Privileged Access Management Solutions (CyberArk, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Directory Services – Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Subject matter expert in the following IAM Technologies: LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), XAML, NAPPS, WS-Fed, FIDO, UMA, SCIM, IWA, etc.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing integrations with ServiceNow and end-to-end workflow automation for full circle fulfillment

Experience in implementing security hardening in cloud-based systems, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a summer term position, May to August 2025 in our Winnipeg Office (hybrid work environment). Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Consultant Services is a key department within Human Resources for IG Wealth Management.  Consultant Services is committed to attracting and developing people who are passionate about learning and to building a foundation that supports consistent and positive service experiences for our consultants. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for responding to requests received through phone calls, email and paper mail, researching, analyzing and bringing resolution to sensitive issues relating to products and services available to consultants.  This involves the completion of various orders, communications, financial processing, quality control and reporting.  This individual is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy, timeliness and accountability.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Research and respond to incoming emails and phone calls.

Identifying areas of improvement to increase accuracy and efficiency of processing within Consultant Services.

Investigate complex situations to determine the root causes and the appropriate measures required to resolve the situation. This will include manual calculations, and reconciliations.

Review, calculate and process Consultant/Associate compensation and remit deductions.

Produce and amend T4A’s and Releve 1’s for commissionable earnings for the Consultant Network.

Validate, import and process data from spreadsheets created by external suppliers and internal departments to ensure proper allocation of Consultants earnings. Work within tight deadlines to ensure processing is completed within the scheduled commission cycle.

Act as a liaison with the respective head office partners to ensure appropriate action is taken on Consultant inquiries
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years experience in a financial services environment

Experience with TreX, DCA, SAS, SSUI and Residual CLASS operating systems along with strong PC skills working with Microsoft Office Suite applications; Excel, Word and Access.

Proven analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail in a timely manner

Strong oral and written communication skills on both English and French

Working knowledge of Investors Group product shelf; operating policies and procedures

The Finance Department is accepting applications for the position of Manger, Finance within IG Wealth Management.  Reporting to the AVP Finance, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for financial and regulatory reporting for the IG Wealth investment manger. Specific responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze the financial results of the IG Wealth investment manager.

Prepare and analyze regulatory filings. 

Prepare and analyze financial statements for the investment manager as prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards.

Provide support for IG Wealth management and IGM finance functions including preparing analysis and participating in projects that impact the groups.

Provide, interpret and communicate accurate financial reporting and analysis on a timely basis for decision-making.

Work with external regulators and auditors.

Liaise with key management to provide relevant finance support and insights.

Develop presentations communicating financial impact of key strategies/initiatives and present to relevant executives and other leadership.

Work closely with other Finance and operations personnel.

Support and improve internal controls over systems and financial processes.

 

Qualifications:

Business degree and/or Professional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent)

7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience within the financial services industry is an asset.

An understanding of regulatory rules relating to investment manager in Canada is an asset.

Advanced financial and business modelling skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and manage relationships at all levels of the organization and work within a team environment.

Position:

 

We are currently hiring a Program Manager – Climate and Environment to join IGM Financial’s Corporate Sustainability team. This team works with a wide variety of business leaders across the organization to direct and execute on IGM’s sustainability strategy, transparently report on IGM’s progress and performance, and engage internal and external stakeholders on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the AVP, Corporate Sustainability, the Program Manager – Climate and Environment will manage the climate and environmental strategy in support of IGM’s overall Corporate Sustainability program.

 

Program Management – strategy and transition planning

Monitor the execution of the climate and environmental strategy

Advise leadership on emerging climate and environmental-related trends and industry developments to inform the execution of the strategy

In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop new strategic environmental programs and initiatives

Support the development of a climate transition plan

Monitor transition plan implementation, delivering measurable results and supporting decision-making

Facilitate internal working groups in developing environmental policies, procedures, and action plans

 

2.      Climate risk management

Assist with further development of climate risk strategy and quantification of climate-related impacts

Engage with the business in developing and executing on climate-related risk management practices

Support development of climate risk identification (metrics/KRIs), modelling and scenario analysis

Develop process to measure, monitor and report on the metrics

 

3.      Reporting and disclosure

Support annual IGM sustainability reporting, collaborating with various internal teams

Support Finance team in interpreting emerging standards, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, data management and assurance

Support the selection of data systems and service providers, as required, to support climate and environmental data and metrics

Qualifications:

A degree in a relevant field of study (Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Statistics), specialized climate training considered a strong asset

5-10 years of relevant climate and environmental experience (financial services experience is an asset)

Experience in climate risk frameworks as well as climate risk assessment / management (i.e. SCR, FRM)

Data and technical knowledge in modelling and scenario analysis (particularly with financial institutions or consulting firms)

Excellent quantitative analytical skills and comfortable working large datasets

Experience in sustainability and/or climate reporting (CDP experience considered a strong asset)

Position

We are currently hiring an intern looking for a Summer term position, May to August in our Winnipeg Office. Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school after their internship are eligible to apply.

 

The Architecture and Technology Innovation team at IGM is made up of dedicated leaders who establish a set of technical patterns and standards to provide a foundation to enable modern, simple, digitized processes in support of changing business needs and strategy over time.   The Architects and Analysts in the Architecture and Technology Innovation team collaborate with our Corporate, Digital, Infrastructure, Delivery and Operations teams to understand the foundational technology needs that will support IGM’s business strategy and the delivery of required platforms and solutions.  Team members support the Architecture Community of Practice which includes representation from Digital and Corporate Platforms, Integration and Automation, Data Office, Security Architecture, Network Architecture, End User Infrastructure, DevOps and Architecture Governance.

New Grad Rotational Program – Operations Stream  

We are currently hiring students in their final year of study looking for opportunities after graduation.  The New Grad Rotational Program offers students the opportunity to complete four rotations over a two-year period with the opportunity to be placed full-time after completion.  The participants will develop a strong understanding of the business’s big picture and how each department contributes to the success of the organization.

Position

Assist Risk Analysts and Advisors to prioritized remediation recommendations

Drive remediation efforts based on the results of security scans across all IT disciplines

Assist in designing effective security controls

Support security and risk education and awareness campaigns to further drive cyber-resilience across the organization using Microsoft Office suite of products

The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
