Responsible for effective administration of assigned disability cases. Monitors shared mailboxes and responds to general inquires, handles absence notification communications, and tracking.

Manages processes related to health-related workplace accommodations and ergonomics.

Identifies opportunities to improve leaves management and recommends changes to policies and procedures.

Identifies and resolves multi-layer or complex problems.

Communication

Communicates effectively in English and French with multiple internal and external contacts on sensitive benefits and leave matters, to proactively identify/resolve complex issues and minimize anxiety. 

Communicates with disability provider to ensure compliance with associated policies and procedures.

Communicates wellness programs and resources varied by circumstances to support and better employee experience while on leave.

Supports the Senior Manager, Benefits & Wellness with communication and education for employees, with a focus on disability management. 
 

 Analysis and Reporting

Supports disability management and accommodations metrics and reporting. 

Contributes to developing best practices to improve people experience.

Qualifications:

HR/ Business post-secondary education.

3+ years’ work experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a benefits role.

Canadian benefits, leaves, and wellness program experience; strong time management and, communication skills. Knowledge of legislation related to disability management.

Bilingualism (English-French)

Department Summary: 
The Real Estate and Facilities department provides the strategy, project delivery, leasing and facility operational management of IGM’s corporate campuses, over 100 IG Wealth Management locations across Canada, and a handful of international Mackenzie Investment distribution offices. It delivers services through its employees and key partners across Canada, with a strong orientation to Operational Excellence and a modern, effective client, advisor, and employee experience for all work locations.

Job Description:

•    Reporting to the VP, Real Estate & Facilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring effective operational functions across approximately 1.7 million square feet of commercial buildings in a multi-city portfolio, including three corporate campuses in Toronto, Winnipeg and Montreal.
•    The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective policies, processes, and procedures and the measurement and reporting of service delivery to the team senior leadership. This includes standard operating procedure development for the operations team, but also policy design and communication to key stakeholders (i.e. employees)
•    The role is accountable for the fulfillment of workplace guest service requests such as townhalls, workplace reservations, parking, bike locker, and gyms for corporate compasses while also ensuring timely response and resolution for all break/fix incidents for all properties in scope. This includes ensuring effective property management via key partners, including building mechanical, cafeteria, waste management, security, janitorial, shredding, coffee services, etc., including preventative maintenance and asset management activities. 
•    The role is responsible for Workplace Health and Safety program, policies and processes, inclusive of incident reporting and remediating safety issues accordingly, annual training design and rollout, and workplace health and safety committee governance.
 
Key Responsibilities::

 Overall Property Management and Facility Operations:
•    Provide strategic and operational direction and leadership to facilities teams (employees and partners)
•    Oversee building operations (break/fix and property management (outsourced)) and daily site operations (moves, occupancy planning, security program, asset management)
•    Oversee guest services provided to corporate campus employees, which include a portfolio of food services (i.e. cafeteria/coffee), lockers, workplace reservation services, parking, lockers, and IGM’s art program)
•    Policy, process, and procedure development and maintenance for internal SOPs as well as employee guidance relates to issue report, requesting real estate services, etc.
•    Measurement of KPIs, service standards, and management reporting of actuals vs. targets, including energy management and sustainability; ensuring leading-edge policies, procedures and best practices are in place for all aspects of the portfolio.
•    Ensure effective third-party governance and relationship management. 
•    Budget and Fiduciary Responsibilities:  in conjunction with your teams; develop operating and expense budgets; including a long-term capital project plan and budget.  

Workplace Health and Safety (WPHS)
•    Oversee the integration of WPHS programs, processes, standards, and tools into one industry leading WPHS Program.
•    Ensure all elements of the H&S platform encompass best practices, industry standards and trends.
•    Chair certain Workplace Health and Safety governance forums.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Facilities Management considered an asset.
•    Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA) certifications considered an asset.
•    The ideal candidate has 10+ years in overseeing a complex portfolio that includes Property Management, Facilities and Workplace Health and Safety.

The Senior Manager, Technology Resilience, is responsible for establishing the governance and continuous improvement of Technology Resilience, 1B Compliance, and Disaster Recovery (DR) practices within Infrastructure and Operations (I&O). This role will undertake transitioning the organization from a DR mindset to a comprehensive technology resilience mindset. Ensures that all DR activities align with the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Standard and compliance with OSFI guidelines (B-10, B-13, and E-21) is maintained. The Manager will lead efforts to assess and enhance the resiliency of critical systems, manage and track identified compliance gaps, and drive the transition to a more resilient operational environment. This position requires a strong focus on governance, risk management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest standards of operational continuity and regulatory compliance. Additionally, as part of the 1B Compliance responsibilities the Manager will review and assess the performance of our ITIL controls.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of the critical applications, to determine their actual resiliency against potential disruptions and disasters.

Review and analyze current resilience levels, identifying any gaps or vulnerabilities in the setup that could impact operational continuity.

Maintain a tracker for all identified resiliency gaps, ensuring each gap is documented, assigned to the appropriate owners, and monitored for resolution

Provide actionable recommendations for improvements to enhance system robustness and compliance with operational continuity standards. 

Prepare detailed reports on assessment findings, including identified gaps, assigned owners, and the status of remediation actions, and regularly present updates to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Role:

As a member of our Corporate Solutions Technology team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights. 

 

This role works closely with business sponsors and business representatives to capture the system’s objectives, evaluate the business requirements, and define solutions that are in alignment with the organizational system architecture. This role works with the Delivery Leader and Project Managers, Systems Architects, System Configurators, Software Developers and Quality Management in a shared responsibility for project evaluation, quality, and completion. Involvement with small to large scale projects involving multiple business areas as well as internal and external partners is anticipated.  The role will require a strong understanding of the high-level complexity across business areas where both the impact and risk associated are high.

 

The successful candidate will be working on our Human Capital Management (HCM) team and will be responsible for soliciting and documenting system requirements, following the software development life cycle.  Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset for this position, including SAP ECC for HR and Payroll, SuccessFactors modules, Qualtrics analyzing and configuring SAP ECC and SuccessFactors HR modules; specifically, Employee Central (SuccessFactors), Payroll and Time Management (SAP ECC) and variable incentive compensation (Specialized Incentive Planning Tool – ICM). The Role

Under the supervision of the Business Architecture Lead, the Business Analyst Jr. will work closely with business subject matter experts to fulfill its mandate and business needs. The Role:

The Director, HR Business Partner is a dynamic and strategic HR leader responsible for driving and delivering HR initiatives within our Corporate Functions group, which includes Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Audit & Sustainability, and Finance.
