DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Estates Settlements is a center of excellence within Strategic Operations & Operational Oversight, a division within Client Services Operations. The Estates Settlement team delivers the full end-to-end experience from supporting the initial estate administration, settling an estate, to supporting the Advisor in retaining assets.   The team is responsible for all administrative accountabilities and contact center support to Advisors and Executors as they go through the estate process. The primary objective of the team is to deliver client centric, holistic experiences to these client segments through high-touch experiences, operational excellence, digital solutions, continuous improvements and collaboration with internal business partners.   We service clients and advisors across Canada and currently have servicing teams within our Winnipeg and QGO campus locations. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Senior Manager, Estates Settlements will lead the team through a transformative journey, focused on delivering an elevated client and employee experience by implementing strategic solutions in people, process, and technology.   They will partner with CSO teams to leverage existing capabilities and collaborate with digital and automation teams across IGM to deliver innovative, end-to-end business solutions that support our corporate growth strategy and estate planning.   The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing Managers to enhance employee experiences through coaching, growth, development, and team culture. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with their team to enhance the estate experience through continuous improvements.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Creating effortless experiences by establishing a shared vision and common goals that focus on delivering elevated experiences in the settlement and retention of assets.

Leading new technologies solutions by leveraging capabilities and delivering on agile solutions result in transparency, ownership and collaboration between the team and Advisors.      

Enabling transformation and modernization anticipating the business unit impacts and effects to upstream and downstream functions.

Providing strong leadership and decision-making capabilities to effectively lead your team to their developmental goals.

Developing and monitoring of department goals, priorities and plans by being accountable for results in key performance areas.  Development of performance metrics to align with changing technology.

Coaching Managers to enhance employee experiences by creating an environment supportive of training, coaching and engagement strategies and methodologies to create an engaged and empowered workforce.

Collaborating closely with clients and partners across IG Wealth Management to achieve departmental and divisional goals.  

Change Management – participate in the development of change management plans using established methods to socialize the change story. Develop, motivate, mentor and provide leadership for the team through the change management process.

Connecting data and insights to drive continuous Improvement by listening to clients and employees to continuously improve business processes while actively seeking out and providing insights to support corporate strategies. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 5 years’ experience with demonstrated leadership success in the financial services sector. Demonstrated breadth and depth of knowledge in policies, processes, regulator requirements and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and experience of performance management, employee development, coaching as well as team building and employee engagement. Proven experience of managing teams through change.

Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and business partners across the company and within the industry.

Detail oriented with the ability to delegate and meet strict deadlines and the ability to set high goals and standards for the team and yourself.

Ability to think and act strategically in a dynamic environment while anticipating future trends in service, technology and training.  An innovative mindset with creative approaches to problems.

Excellent written and oral communication and an ability to interact across levels

Ability to plan, analyze data, coordinate and execute multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously

Education/skills: Post-secondary degree in Business Administration and/or related field. Industry related courses such as CSC, IFC.  Proficient in Microsoft Office. 

Knowledge and understanding of current technology capabilities (ie. Salesforce, Advisor Portal, Robotic Process Automation) would be considered an asset.

Bilingual (French-English) is an asset.

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: Managed Portfolio Operations is a strategic team within Client Services Operations, with locations in Winnipeg and Toronto.  The team provides administrative oversight for the Azure and iProfile Private Portfolios programs– managed asset solutions for high-net-worth clients. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: As an Analyst, Managed Portfolio Operations, on the Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) program, you will play a key role in supporting the operational and analytical functions of our SMA platform, Azure.  You will work closely with portfolio managers and other business partners to ensure the accuracy, performance, and integrity of the SMA program.  You will also support the iProfile Private Portfolio program on an as-needed bases.
 
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Assist in the preparation and execution of account rebalancing activities, ensuring alignment with updated security models provided by Portfolio Managers.  This includes analyzing portfolio changes, generating and reviewing trade recommendations, and coordination timely and accurate implementation across managed accounts.
Prepare customized and ad hoc weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support internal business partners
Generate and validate trade files for equity, fixed income, and ETF transactions; coordinate with portfolio manager to ensure accurate and timely execution.
Tax-loss harvesting support, preparing related trade instructions and constraints
Reconciliation of monthly performance data, including composite level reporting and variance analysis
Respond to inquiries and escalations from advisors, internal teams, and other stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information related to SMA account activity, portfolio operations, and system processes
Provide support to the iProfile Private Portfolio and other account programs based on business needs

 
QUALIFICATIONS

Four years’ experience in the financial services industry
Experience using W360 or a similar SMA platform to support portfolio operations is an asset
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
Post secondary degree/diploma in a business discipline with relevant securities or financial services courses (IFIC, CSC) is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach to service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines
High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities

The Credit and Client Banking (CCB) Team is dedicated to maintaining accurate and reliable financial records through meticulous reconciliation and monitoring. We manage a wide range of financial operations including cash flow, settlement payments, tax execution, and regulatory reporting. Our team ensures compliance, supports audits, and delivers exceptional service through proactive analysis and stakeholder engagement.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Specialist, Credit and Client Banking, is responsible for overseeing complex financial operations and ensuring the integrity of banking and ledger activities. The Senior Specialist ensures optimal liquidity through daily cash sweep oversight and resolves escalations with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
As a subject matter expert, the Senior Specialist provides technical guidance across cross-functional teams, reviews and authorizes high-value transactions, and mentors junior staff to uphold accuracy and quality standards. The role supports audit readiness and regulatory compliance, including CIRO, CSOX, and CDIC requirements, through rigorous documentation and reconciliation practices.
With a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence, the Senior Specialist assesses downstream impacts on client service delivery, drives process improvements, and maintains comprehensive procedural documentation. This position plays a key role in enhancing financial accuracy, efficiency, and service quality across the organization.
 

Oversee and analyze daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger (G/L) and control accounts, client cash positions, rebalancing activities, and other financial elements impacting the ledger. Manage Daily cash sweep files to ensure optimal liquidity management and alignment with operational and funding requirements.
Manage and resolve complex escalations with a focus on root cause analysis, timely resolution, and implementation of long-term corrective measures.
Investigate financial exceptions, document findings, and drive the implementation of sustainable solutions to mitigate recurrence.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Specialist will provide continual support to IG Wealth Connect Advisors and clients by providing enhanced administrative support, demonstrating strong customer and relationship management skills and acting as first point of operational support for both financial and non-financial transactions. They will identify solutions and make appropriate decisions that result in producing high quality work. Working in a fast-paced environment, their main responsibility is to handle all supporting paperwork, inquiries and problems accurately, professionally and effectively through acquired product knowledge of the corporate policies and procedures.
 
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Client servicing and administration – guide and offer support to Advisors through administration related to orders and answer account inquiries and business submission methods. Activities include updating account information, processing non-financial requests, quality control, responding to service requests, communicating with customers, follow up, and adjustments.
Communicates regularly with IG Wealth Connect clients to resolve issues, answer questions, and strengthen the client relationship and experience.

Determine the best course of action and ensure completion of action has met established standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

As part of Operations Support Services within Enterprise Operations Enablement, the Knowledge Management (KM) team serves as a Center of Excellence (COE) for content management. Responsibilities:

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: IG Wealth Connect is a strategic area within Financial Services Distribution. The IG Wealth Connect is responsible for managing, servicing and providing financial planning advice to a segment of IG Wealth Management clients nationally. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Specialist will provide continual support to IG Wealth Connect Advisors and clients by providing enhanced administrative support, demonstrating strong customer and relationship management skills and acting as first point of operational support for both financial and non-financial transactions. They will identify solutions and make appropriate decisions that result in producing high quality work. Working in a fast-paced environment, their main responsibility is to handle all supporting paperwork, inquiries and problems accurately, professionally and effectively through acquired product knowledge of the corporate policies and procedures.

We are currently looking for a Manager, Compliance, to join our Compliance department located across Canada. The Manager, Compliance, is registered to supervise the activities of IG Wealth Management registrants. 

 

Responsibilities include:

Conducting Tier 1 supervision activities including conducting reviews of daily and monthly trading, account opening and KYC updates, outside activities, social media supervision, and service-related complaint resolution on either the investment dealer or mutual fund dealer platform, and or both.

Supporting IG Wealth Management registrants in resolving compliance issues with regulatory guideline interpretation and with inquiries relating to acceptance of unique or exceptional situations.

Managing regulatory obligations and commitments, such as the 90-day training program, 6-month supervision, periodic on-site sub-branch visits, continuing education, as well as close supervision.

Identifying training requirements, implementing and coordinating the delivery of training programs.

Participating in internal compliance reviews or external regulator audits conducted in Head Office or Branch/Sub-Branch office locations.
 

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in a compliance-related environment.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant business discipline.

Must qualify to be immediately registered with CIRO as a supervisor for investments, mutual funds or both.

If currently qualified as a supervisor for mutual funds only, the candidate must commit to completing the following courses within 1 year from hire, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices (CPH), and Investment Dealer Supervisor Course.

Position (details)
Reporting to the AVP Procurement Services, the Director Market Data Management is responsible for leading the Market Data Management Team in developing and executing market data strategies and driving cost-saving initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of market data management practices (incl. vendors in the marketplace), strong leadership skills and experience with TRG Screen.
 
Responsibilities:

Facilitate development of IGM’s market data strategy
Explore innovative industry solutions to reduce market data consumption
Lead a team of Market Data professionals in providing market data vendor management, strategy & governance and sourcing related activities to meet stakeholder objectives
Work with market data consumers across the enterprise to understand needs and identify opportunities to manage demand and reduce duplication
Identify duplicative data sources and options to reuse data to avoid redundant queries
Review usage of niche providers that can be moved to a more ubiquitous firm to drive scale and cost efficiencies
Look for ways to maximize what we have (i.e. manage the value we get)
Make connections across IGM user groups (i.e. best practices; one group to provide the data to other groups) to optimize enterprise spend
Analyze and drive insights from TRG Screen market data subscription management platform

Understand and enforce procurement and contracting processes and policies, adopt usage of  the procurement platform for supplier management and contract activities

Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing on supplier selection processes when required and consult, as required, on strategies for upcoming contract renewals

Requirements:

University degree in Business Management (BBA, BComm, MBA) or finance
Minimum 15 years of work experience (ideally within the financial services industry) with at least 5 years of related market data management experience with a focus on strategy and cost reduction
