Your Impact in This Role
As Global Lead of Local Financial Business Services (FBS), you will oversee an international team of accounting and reporting experts, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations while delivering high-quality general accounting support across our Strategic Business Units (SBUs). Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Accounting & FBS, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s financial compliance strategy while driving efficiencies in statutory reporting, indirect taxes, and audit processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Advisor – Provide expert guidance on IFRS and local GAAP to SBU Controllers and internal stakeholders.
• Global Statutory Compliance – Ensure the timely preparation, audit, and filing of statutory financial statements.
• Tax Compliance – Oversee indirect tax filings and ensure proper system setups.
• Financial Integrity – Drive balance sheet accuracy through monthly reviews and strong internal controls.
• M&A Advisory – Support due diligence, purchase price allocations, and integration processes.
• Process Optimization – Lead continuous improvements in finance operations, optimizing cost efficiency.
• People Leadership – Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing international team of accounting experts.
• Finance Community Development – Conduct trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions for the global finance network.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What You Bring to the Table

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of IFRS & local GAAP
• Expertise in indirect tax compliance & audit processes
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

Your Background

• Bachelor degree (CPA Auditor designation preferred)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a complex and high-volume accounting environment or a Big 4 audit firm
• Hands-on experience with statutory audits, tax compliance, and process improvements
• Proven leadership in managing financial teams and providing coaching & training
• Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment is an asset
• Service industry experience is preferred
• Fluency in English is required; French is considered an asset
