Position Description:
The selected candidate will play a key role in preventing fraud and identity theft by conducting investigations and verifying membership applications, among other tasks. If you are passionate about research and have excellent investigative and organizational skills, join us!
Your future duties and responsibilities:
– Carefully verify membership applications in accordance with established procedures, in particular to check their legitimacy.
– Receive, collect, analyze, and evaluate information concerning certain clients (companies).
– Effectively document verification activities and write investigation reports with accuracy, rigor, conciseness, and relevance for each investigation under your responsibility.
– Perform telephone and/or virtual verifications with applicants via Teams.
– If necessary, perform verifications with the account manager of the financial institution or accounting firm. (if applicable)
– Bring any suspicious situations to the attention of your manager/team leader
– Respond to requests for information from government agencies or police forces
– Produce and validate the required reports on a monthly basis
– Respond to customer requests, particularly those relating to infrastructure security and the protection of personal information
– Advise operational sectors on certain situations relating to user or customer authentication
– If necessary, perform various administrative tasks in support of other management teams.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
– High school diploma
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Possess good analytical skills—ability to examine a situation from different angles and ask questions
– Good priority management
– Demonstrate a good sense of rigor, attention to detail, and responsibility
– Bilingualism (French and English)
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
