The Team
The Financial Support Services team is a well-established group of over 60 professionals dedicated to providing leadership and guidance in daily financial operations, with a focus on innovative payment solutions. The Role
In this financial services clerk role you will deliver essential financial support to clients, offices, and procurement teams, directly contributing to meaningful outcomes for children, youth, and families in need. This position offers the opportunity to develop and enhance your financial skills in a dynamic and complex organization, while using your expertise to make a positive impact. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

•    Completion of secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent.
•    Three (3) years clerical/administrative support experience.
•    One (1) year of experience in an Accounting Operations environment including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other core accounting functions.
•    Experience using computerized systems and software such as internet-based applications and financial applications.
•    Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
•    A combination of experience, education and/or training may be considered.

Preference may be given to applicants who have:

•    Two (2) or more years of accounts payable experience.
•    One (1) or more years of analytical reporting or reconciliation experience.
•    One (1) or more years of experience working in CAS Oracle.
•    Completed post-secondary courses in accounting or related financial services.

Provisos:

•    This position requires you to travel within the province and service area.
•    This position requires you to possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).

About this Position:
2 Full Time Positions available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work 1 day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies.
