The Team
The Exchange Lab Services team in the Digital Office is an established, dynamic group dedicated to improving public service delivery in British Columbia through innovative digital approaches. As part of the Advisory Services team, you’ll join seven members who support community engagement, communications, and business relationship development. The team works closely with diverse roles across governance, policy, technology, and human-centered design, fostering open collaboration and engagement. Together, they tackle complex, high-impact projects that prioritize accessible, user-centered services, making a real difference for the people of British Columbia.
The Role
As the Lead of the Advisory Service program, you will design and manage initiatives that help priority partners enhance digital service delivery across government. You’ll guide the team’s work, support new projects, and foster professional growth, all while advising on continuous improvement strategies. This role plays a vital part in making public services more accessible and responsive, directly benefiting citizens. Candidates will find inspiration in leading a collaborative team, tackling complex challenges, and driving innovation in a dynamic, high-change environment that values equity, inclusion, and leadership development.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Related Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline, public administration, digital governance and/or human-centred design. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience consulting organization(s) to achieve outcomes that impact service delivery and related digital products.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to iteratively create and improve products and services.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a customer service environment.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
- Experience delivering digital products or services.
- Experience designing and delivering a program for a diverse scope of clients in a high change environment.
- Experience facilitating and coaching people for change adoption.
- Experience designing group process to achieve organizational alignment.
- Experience working in a Product Manager/Owner or Scrum Master role.

About this Position:
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
The position headquarters will be Victoria, Surrey, Richmond, Vancouver or Prince George.
