The Team
The Information Management Branch (IMB) Strategy & Governance team is a dynamic and growing group shaping the future of digital and data investments in British Columbia. As part of a 100+ member team, you’ll contribute to the ministry’s historic digital transformation, working collaboratively to modernize service delivery. 

The Role
The Manager, HR Operations is a versatile Human Resources generalist, providing expert advice and support across a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and wellness. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless HR operations and compliance with policies, directly contributing to the branch’s success in driving organizational initiatives. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • Human Resource provincial government training or post secondary education related to Human Resources.
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Five years of strategic and operational human resources experience involving organizational design, recruitment, selection, orientation and change management.      
  • Experience leading projects involving multiple organizations.
  • Experience leading and resolving confidential, complex and sensitive issues, both with staff and clients.

About this Position:
