The Team
Our Project Management Team is a dynamic and evolving group, currently consisting of four dedicated professionals with plans to expand. Our team is part of the Provincial Priorities Branch which oversees key provincial programs and priorities for the Service Delivery Division. As a newer team, we lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of key priorities that directly impact the children, youth, young adults, and families we serve. The Role
As the Business Application Analyst, you report directly to the Director of the Project Management Team. You represent the program area in the design, development, and ongoing implementation, enhancement and maintenance of business processes and applications that meet current and future business needs. By collaborating with diverse teams and interested parties, you will dive into workflows, reimagine processes and create solutions that enhance process efficiencies and effectiveness. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, computer sciences, information technology, or a field related to the program area and one (1) year of *related experience; OR
  • Diploma in business administration, public administration, computer sciences, information technology, or a field related to the program area and two (2) years *related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in business administration, public administration, computer sciences, information technology, or a field related to the program area and three (3) years *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • *Related experience includes the following:
    • Experience providing end to end business analysis for key business applications including writing and executing user acceptance test scenarios, and/or gathering and documenting business requirements.
    • Experience with business processes and applications including implementation planning and testing, security, and the development of analytical reports. 
    • Experience in change management processes and project management methodologies.
    • Experience in working collaboratively with various partners on business process development and change.

About this Position:
This position can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
