The Team
You’ll be joining the Interior Fraser Regional Office team—a small, close-knit group of three that plays a big role in supporting nine offices across a wide and diverse region. This established team is known for its collaborative spirit and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and innovative work environment for colleagues across the region. Working alongside a variety of roles—from Local Managers and Probation Officers to Administrative Assistants—you’ll be part of a supportive network that values diverse perspectives and shared success.
The Role
In this role, you’ll handle key responsibilities like payroll and leave management, administrative systems, hiring support, and day-to-day operations that help local offices run smoothly. While you won’t work directly with the public, your work will have a meaningful impact by supporting the teams who do—ensuring they have the tools and support they need to serve their communities effectively. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- A combination of 4 years of related experience, education and/or training (e.g., administrative or secretarial support), or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in word processing and other standard computer applications, e.g., spreadsheets, data bases;
- Experience in referencing government clerical, financial and establishment policies;
- Experience in leave management, payroll and personnel functions;
- Experience in using the internet and email.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience in human relations;
- Experience utilizing CHIPS (Corporate Human Resource Information and Payroll System);
- Experience in recruitment and selection paneling experience.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This is for one (1) permanent opportunity in Kelowna
Located in the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna is known for its spectacular selection of wineries. On the shores of Okanagan Lake, Kelowna also has easy access to swimming, paddling, windsurfing and fishing. Big White, the ski mountain in Kelowna, provides skiing and snowboarding adventure.
