The Executive and Enterprise Communications (EEC) team at CGI is looking for a senior communications professional with a flair for writing distinctive and engaging content that resonates with employees and candidates, as well as external audiences. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for developing internal communications including messages to employees, presentations, campaigns, and speaking notes. They will research and recommend best practices, build and collaborate with a network of colleagues, ensure timely and regular publication of content, and measuring results. In addition, the Senior Consultant will also work closely with various corporate services functions to create communication strategies, plans and content that support CGI’s strong culture and drive engagement for our 90,250 consultants and professionals across the globe.
The ideal candidate must have 7-10 years of experience, be a self-starter, be comfortable wearing many hats and have superior English writing skills. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at both the planning and implementation of communication campaigns.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Partner with internal stakeholders across CGI’s corporate services functions to create communication plans and deploy integrated communication campaigns.
Raise internal awareness and understanding of the company’s strategic initiatives and Corporate Services projects.
-Collaborate with colleagues in the various regions and Centers of Expertise to ensure cohesive messaging that adheres to CGI editorial standards and brand guidelines.
-Leverage new and existing channels to reach employees with engaging content.
-Provide bilingual content and translation coordination.
-Analyze performance indicators across all channels to continuously improve executive and enterprise communications, and achieve greater impact.
-Encourage feedback, interaction and discussion with our stakeholders and employees.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related discipline.
7-10 years of related professional experience in corporate communications, preferably within a global environment and/or high-tech industry.
-Superior writing skills in English and French.
-Experience in supporting senior leaders.
-Ability to understand target audiences and translate complex concepts into clear and concise messages.
-Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced, non-routine environment.
-High level of autonomy; capacity to drive projects independently and to effectively manage deadlines.
-Collaborative disposition comfortable in a consultative environment where various points of view are valued, sought out and leveraged.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint knowledge is a plus.
