Position Description:
Are you passionate about people? The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an active contributor to our Talent Acquisition team, coordinating various aspects of our recruitment and hiring process. As part of this dynamic team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and candidates to ensure an efficient and smooth hiring process. Based in Halifax, NS, this hybrid position requires 2-3 days a week in office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Actively coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising new opportunities, scheduling interviews, and providing timely updates to candidates.
• Review offer letters, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support the collection of feedback post interview from hiring managers
• Consolidate, analyze, and interpret weekly and monthly recruitment reports to track key performance metrics, providing insights.
• Participate in recruitment events locally (universities, colleges, and professional networking events), including coordination and preparation activities.
• Support various projects for talent acquisition, including event coordination, marketing, and market insights research
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and recruitment technology to continually enhance the team’s recruitment efforts.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Degree or diploma in Business or HR related field.
• 1+ years of experience in HR/Recruitment administration.
• IT recruitment experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to manipulate and consolidate reports in MS Excel (experience using pivot tables preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
