Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client’s downtown Toronto office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
This role will lead an in-depth data analysis work to produce various data management reports to be used by other teams.
A preferred candidate should demonstrate proficiency in below skills with a 4+ years of experience performing data analysis work.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
1. Proven experience in Data Analysis, Data Quality Assessment, and compiling metadata for Data Lineage
2. Ability to understand complex data relationships and write effective business-oriented reports
3. Proficient in SQL and Python languages, JIRA, and Confluence
4. Proficient in MS Word and Excel
5. Analytical, Curious and Self-starter
6. Result oriented and problem solver
Nice to have:
1. Good understanding of various payments protocols and message types like ACH, SWIFT, Fedwire
2. Good understanding of vendor systems: Broadridge/BPSA, TSYS, Fenergo
1. Prior working experience in Banking (CM, Wealth, and Credit Card), Financial Crimes / AML
2. Basic understanding of Collibra, Ataccama ONE vendor tools
