Salary range for the position is $106,026 to $152,413. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
How will you make an impact?
The Manager, Data and Integrations (Manager) oversees the creation and operation of all aspects of data for reporting, testing and integrations, under the HCMS Project. The Manager works closely with peer managers and staff to ensure the continued availability, integrity, and confidentiality of HCMS Data Platform solutions and associated services. The Manager stays current with technical management trends and delivers best practices to manage and mentor technical staff.
What will you work on?
• Leads the strategy and development of data related best practices and creation of sustainable integrations for the delivery of the Workday solution.
• Formulates plans and supports staff in the monitoring, identifying, resource utilization, security, and configuration management, and incident management of platform components and services that process, store, and serve data; including the data services such as, databases, data storage, integrations, ETLs/ELTs, data models, data sets, data access, source control, automation, and associated software.
• Creates highly effective, repeatable processes and workflows to ensure stability, sustainability, servicing of business requirements, data quality, and data security with a focus on automation and continual improvement.
• Fosters collaborative relationships with technology, privacy, security, analytics, reporting, and business departments representing Data and Integrations in projects and initiatives to ensure HCMS Services are aligned with supported operations.
• Provides escalation and priority management for data and integration development and sustainment.
• Prepares the annual operating and capital budget for the department; monitors activities and ensures expenditures are within approved budgets; and identifies efficiencies that promotes the optimal use of both people and infrastructure resources.
• Responsible for recruitment, performance management, attendance management, and discipline measures for direct reports, evaluating employee strengths and determining related training and orientation requirements.
• Coaches staff on self-discovery, emotional intelligence, values, principles, behaviours, communication, and conflict resolution.
• Develops team psychological safety, vision, mission, and culture in alliance with Interior Health.
• Mentors’ department through change and transition fostering systems thinking and resilience at work.
• Leads, inspires, and influences assigned team to optimal productivity while ensuring operational efficiency, capacity planning, and resource forecasting that operate at enterprise scale.
• Challenges self and staff with SMART goals in alliance with Interior Health Strategic Priorities to learn, innovate, and do hard things.
• In alignment with IH’s Occupational Health & Safety Program, maintain a healthy and safe work environment through complying with and implementing applicable Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, responding to requests from WSBC, identifying hazards and communicating risks, ensuring compliance with employee training, conducting effective incident investigations, and implementing required corrective actions.

Qualfications
Education, Training, and Experience
• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum seven (7) years of recent, related leadership and management experience, working within a complex environment, (preferably healthcare), including responsibility for operations at an enterprise level. Experience with data management including linkage, analysis, interpretation, and data management systems.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Knowledge in data governance practices and business and technology issues related to the enterprise data asset management.
