The Team

The  IT Operations team is a diverse group of 10 professionals including analysts, advisors, and managers. The Role
In this role, you will manage the Province’s access to Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently for the Real Property Division. Your work will directly benefit citizens by making services more reliable and easier to use. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse team and on many different projects, helping to find solutions that improve business decisions and outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration (IT/IM) or a directly related field and 2 years *related experience; or
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration (IT/IM) or a directly related field and 3 years *related experience; or
  • Certification from a recognized institution in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration (IT/IM) or a directly related field and 4 years *related experience; or
  • A combination of directly related education and experience may be considered.

Related Experience:

  • Cloud-based software subscription management related experience includes tracking & monitoring enterprise licencing arrangements for large organizations.
  • Experience providing expertise, guidance, and assistance in configuring and administering JIRA and Confluence Cloud instances, including  issue management, and implications to staff/professionals.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive client relationships and working partnerships with client teams, vendors, and cross organizational business units.
  • Experience performing business analysis in a complex technology environment to support system application changes or improvements relating to corporate information technology projects.
  • Experience developing IT related guidelines, policies, procedures and processes.
  • Experience with IT contracts and experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions.
  • Experience working with various software vendors and vendor licensing models.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following experience:

  • Have or are working toward a Certified Business Analysis Practitioner (CBAP) designation.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with User Experience (UX) teams, designers, and developers to iteratively create or improve digital products and services from conception to production.
  • Experience working with Agile Planning Tools.
  • Experience planning, managing, and evaluating financial compliance reviews.
  • Technology asset management.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
The position headquarters will be Victoria, Surrey, Richmond, Vancouver, Kamloops or Prince George.
