Position Description:

We are Canada’s largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we’re still growing! Join us as a “Integration Technical Lead” in our team.

Location – Markham

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers (frontend + backend), fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment proficiently
• Oversee project delivery, to deliver new capability to the business
• Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
• Collaborate with partners and multi-functional teams collaboratively to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding and security standard
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and sound design solutions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operation documentation
• Manage monthly development releases for business critical digital applications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Technical Skills on Java, Spring Boot on prem as well as on AWS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong technical skills in Java (Spring Boot)
• Strong technical skills in Angular
• Strong technical skills in Oracle
• Strong technical skills in MongoDB
• Strong technical skill in NoSQL database
• Strong experience with Agile methodology
• Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
• Leadership and team/project management experience
Nice to Have:
• P&C Insurance industry experience will be a plus
