CGI is looking for a bilingual DevOps AWS for one of our prestigious clients in Montreal.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work in a multi-skilled Cloud team supporting GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Experience migrating workloads from on-prem to the Cloud to include provisioning targeted infrastructure and executing cutover plans to minimize system downtime.
• Experience in understanding of landing zone setup on the public cloud, including Network, IAM, Configuration Management, CI/CD, etc.
• Setting up tagging/labels, naming conventions, security policies like Organization constraints & Azure policy
• Experience working with containerization technologies (Anthos, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
• Automated deployment using third party tools like ServiceNow, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.
• Support customer implementation of Cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and monitoring
• Fixing incident root causes by contributing code fixes or design changes back to the service specifications
• Leverage automation tools and Infrastructure as Code tools to maintain environment and execute changes while adhering to change management process
• Identify areas of operations with quality deficits or automation opportunities and work to improve
• Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps challenges
• Closely work with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Hybrid Cloud products and features.
• Experience with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers and Firewalls.
• Strong knowledge & hands-on experience in Cloud Networking which includes IP addressing, Natting, Private connection, hub/spoke, etc.
• Experience with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management.
• Hands-on Experience on configuring and deploying Public Cloud infrastructure consisting of identity and access management, network architecture, logging, monitoring, billing, CDN design, load balancer setup, caching, compute optimizations, continuous integration and delivery pipeline, etc.
• Experience with hybrid public cloud architectures, pros/cons, migration considerations, microservices architecture and cloud integration architecture.
• Familiarity with Telecom/Media domain will be an asset.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

– Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
– A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
– Certification: DevOps, SAFe, Coaching (assets)
– Good knowledge of cloud computing and the migration of traditional systems to cloud computing (an asset)
Specific knowledge:
– Good knowledge of DevOps elements
– Good knowledge of GCP and devops tools
– Good knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, SAFe)
– Good knowledge of different coaching and transformation support methods
– Proficiency in written and oral communication in French at an advanced level
