Position Description:

Our Data Services is focused on creating the organized data layer to represent our company’s operations. Data Services Engineering is dedicated to managing the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition to presentation, leveraging reusable frameworks and components. The DSE engineers build and support Data and BI as software engineered products. We are committed to maintaining relevant datasets and reports to ensure our company is continually enabled to make accurate data-driven decisions

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Build acquisition pipelines from different data sources like Oracle, SAP, SQL databases.
• Transform data in a meaningful way that serves the variety of business needs.
• Create sustainable pipelines and support Data Science, Reporting and the Front-End team on all data needs.
• Establish patterns, build generic frameworks and contribute to documentation.
• Daily interactions with Product and the wider engineering team to iterate quickly and constantly make valuable contributions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related engineering field.
• Real-world experience developing end to end ETL pipelines.
• Experience with databases.
• Experience with high velocity CI/CD systems, Agile ways of working and A/B testing to accelerate iteration cycles.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tooling

Tools & Technologies
SQL, Python, Azure DevOps and GitHub, Databricks / Spark, Delta Lake, Azure Cloud Infrastructure, GCPMS Visual Studio, VS Code (Code Editor and IDE).
