The Team
Service BC is government’s chief provider of services to B.C. residents and businesses. The work of the division enables the design and delivery of accessible, responsive, and cost-effective services, making it easier for British Columbians and businesses to interact with government. Through BC Registries and Digital Services, we provide trusted registry services including the Corporate Registry, Personal Property Registry, Manufactured Home Registry and BC Online.
The Role
As an Application Programmer Co-op, you will design, develop, test, enhance and maintain critical applications of significant complexity (multiple platforms, environments and technologies requiring integration of new and legacy systems) that will support the strategic direction of BC Registry Services and the needs of its clients.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Co-op– registered in a recognized co-op program studying in computer science or a related discipline.
- Experience in structured and object-oriented programming in a complex rules-based environment using a broad number of application development tools, including experience in frontend and backend development.
- Experience using a variety of modern development languages and technologies.
- Experience with Python and/or Vue.js

The position headquarters will be Victoria
