The Team
Join our Programs and Interventions Team, an established and highly skilled group dedicated to supporting evidence-based programming in BC Corrections. With a focus on collaboration and accessibility, our team of eight delivers advanced training and develops resources that enhance the skills of probation officers across the province. The Role
This role is a dynamic opportunity to support the delivery of internationally recognized training that equips probation officers with the skills to create meaningful change in the lives of corrections clients. You’ll play a key role in organizing training materials, tracking course progress, liaising with staff across the province, and ensuring seamless communication. Based in the Abbotsford Law Courts, this fast-paced position allows you to sharpen your organizational skills while contributing to a team that helps reduce reoffending rates and foster personal growth—both for staff and the people they serve.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Grade 12 graduation or GED equivalent
  • A combination of 3 years of related experience, education and/or training in secretarial, stenographic or administrative support. Other areas of experience/education/training may be considered.
  • Experience/training in word processing, spreadsheets and other standard computer applications.

This position is part time (17.5 hours weekly / 35 hours biweekly)
This position has full time on-site requirements.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
