The Business Intelligence and Foresight team is an integral part of the IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis function and is responsible for planning & forecasting infrastructure/support, core expense and FTE reporting, ownership of chart of accounts relating to Expense Management within SAP, development and maintenance of data models within data warehouses, as well as spearheading numerous projects relating to exploration of data within the SAP HANA/BW environments leading to automation of key reports. The team also collaborates extensively across IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis; IGM Data Services; and reporting functions within Finance & Distribution.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our Planning, Reporting & Analytics team. The Snr Specialist, Dashboards & Analytics role is critical in supporting data-driven decision-making across SP&A functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Preparation & Reporting
Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Process Optimization & Communication
Identify opportunities to streamline planning and reporting workflows while facilitating clear communication with business stakeholders.
- Tool Expertise
Utilize a diverse set of data preparation and reporting tools—including Power Query, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, HANA Studio, and Excel models—to support analytics and planning activities. This includes executing critical monthly ETL processes and providing support for both monthly reporting and biannual forecasting requirements.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with various business units to enhance reporting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with SP&A objectives.
- Modernize Reporting
Drive the evolution of reporting tools and practices—transform static dashboards into dynamic, insight-rich platforms that empower smarter decisions.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Business degree and/or 3+ years of progressive Business Intelligence, Financial Modelling/Analysis or related field experience
- Proficiency in data visualization softwares such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience in working with SAP suite of solutions will be considered an asset
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and VBA
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Skilled in transforming complex datasets into intuitive visualizations that drive strategic insights and support executive decision-making.
- Strong ability to understand applications of data and analyze results
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced business modelling skills, including expert proficiency in Excel, VBA and SQL
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines on an ongoing basis
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
