We are looking for Business Systems Analyst with extensive experience in Data and Financial Services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role you will,

• Lead systems owners and business users to define data, business and operations requirements and goals, and identify and resolve issues for a large data platform team
• Lead requirements sessions with stakeholders for data centric projects for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
• Design and implement short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software
• Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
• Meet with business users to gather, analyze, produce, validate and obtain approval of the Business Requirements Specification
• Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models
• Create systems models, business requirement specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to Application Developers
• Coordinate definition of test cases for Quality Assurance and UAT

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science or management information systems
• Azure experience/certification
• 5+ years work experience in the Insurance industry & 5+ years work experience as a business analyst
• Preference given to candidates who have experience working in Agile
• Data Governance and Data Quality Experience
• 3 years of experience with hands-on business and data analysis in data warehousing and with leading enterprise data projects throughout the project life cycle
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques, database design and concepts is mandatory
• Working technical knowledge of SQL programming languages including relational databases and an understanding of ETL processes and tools
• Experience with design, development, and support of business intelligence tools such as Qlikview, Tableau or Power BI for enterprise data warehouse
• Experience with core software applications, including Policy Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project Professional
• Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and mainframe applications
• Hands on experience in BSA artifacts: Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), System Requirements Specification (SRS)
• Strong knowledge on data mapping, lineage, data validation etc.
• Data classification and Advanced SQL knowledge.
