Position Description:

This is a great opportunity to join our CGI team in Atlantic Canada providing leading IT services to our clients. We are seeking a Scrum Master who has prior experience working independently and facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and actively promoting agile practices.

As a Scrum Master They serve as an effective servant leader who communicates clearly, demonstrates strong leadership, applies analytical thinking, drives measurable results, and understands financial implications of team decisions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies effectively with clear, concise communication
• Track, analyze, and report team metrics and progress to demonstrate value
• Identify and remove team impediments through analytical problem-solving
• Coach team members on agile practices with strong leadership presence
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results
• Configure and maintain agile tools to enhance team efficiency
• Foster high-performing team dynamics through effective leadership
• Support organizational agile transformation efforts with financial awareness
• Translate team activities into business value and financial outcomes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• CSM certification required
• Advanced agile certifications preferred (PSM, etc.)
• 3-6 years of Scrum Master experience
• Strong knowledge of agile frameworks
• Proven facilitation and coaching skills
• Experience with agile tooling and metrics
• Demonstrated analytical approach to problem-solving
• Understanding of financial concepts as they relate to agile development
