Position Description:
CGI Montreal is looking for a Solutions Architect – Digital to design and drive the architecture of our Digital and eCommerce ecosystem. This role will be responsible for defining and implementing scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs, and leveraging technologies such as Manhattan, Magento, Adobe Experience Manager, SAP, and Payment Service Providers.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
– Define and implement Solution Architecture for the Digital / eCommerce ecosystem, ensuring integration across platforms.
– Assess business requirements and gather Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
– Pre-select, evaluate, and compare potential technical solutions, including software selection.
– Provide comprehensive architectural solutions considering Business, Application, Information, and Technology domains.
– Lead the design, specification, and selection of information system solutions, focusing on functionality, security, integration, performance, and scalability.
– Support project teams throughout the specifications and design phases.
– Partner with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
– Investigate and recommend emerging digital technologies that could benefit the organization.
– Document the solution in the enterprise architecture tool (BIZZDesign) using Archimate.
– Develop and maintain models for current and future Application and Digital Architectures.
– Lead the adoption of innovative technologies to drive digital transformation and process optimization.
– Provide technical guidance and support to software development teams.
– Estimate costs and resource requirements, preparing business cases for IT solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
– Solution Architecture for Digital / eCommerce solutions
– Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Magento, Manhattan, SAP
– Understanding of Payment Service Providers and integration best practices
– Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture tools (BIZZDesign, Archimate)
– Experience designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance digital platforms
– Familiarity with cloud architectures, APIs, and microservices
– Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
– Certifications in Solution Architecture (TOGAF, AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus
– Experience in Retail, eCommerce, or Digital Transformation projects
