Location: Ottawa-Hybrid: 3 days onsite in office

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities and tasks could include but are not limited to;
• Design and develop robotic systems and algorithms that incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to enable autonomous decisionmaking and behavior.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and other hardware components into robotic platforms, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
• Program and implement control algorithms and logic to enable robots to perceive and interact with their environment effectively.
• Develop computer vision and perception systems to enable robots to recognize objects, navigate environments, and perform tasks autonomously.
• Implement machine learning algorithms to enable robots to learn from experience, adapt to changing conditions, and improve performance over time.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to design and build robotic systems that meet specific requirements and objectives.
• Conduct experiments and field tests to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of robotic systems in real-world scenarios, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in robotic hardware and software, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics, AI, and related fields, attending conferences, workshops, and training programs to expand knowledge and skills.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design, development, and deployment of robotic systems, prioritizing the safety of operators, bystanders, and the environment.”
