Position Description:

We are looking for Senior Solution Architect specialized in API Security and Governance to lead the design and implementation of secure API ecosystem.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2 -3 times per week – subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Ability to create and update the API Governance Framework and Target Operating Model to ensure compliance and optimal performance across platform
• Develop and maintain scalable API architecture that prioritize security and governance (Understanding of API End Points, Authentications, Authorization, encryption, and threat detection)
• Establish and enforce governance policies and standards for API usage , documentation, and Lifecycle management.
• Work closely with Internal security and audit teams to integrate security practices into the API development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts and other team members on best practices for API security and governance
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align API security initiatives with organizational goals
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies to enhance API security and governance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• The role requires deep expertise in API Architecture, security, and best industry standards.
• Develop and maintain scalable API architecture that prioritize security and governance (Understanding of API End Points, Authentications, Authorization, encryption, and threat detection)
• Proficiency in API Design (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) Expertise in security protocol (OAuth, OpenID) Understanding API Management tool (Apigee, MuleSoft, API External and internal gateways)
