Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist, you’ll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s leading industry solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation solutions.
  • Work with customers to adopt and deploy IBM technologies to assure business value realized
  • IBM Automation Solution Design: Define practical IBM Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks.
  • Proof of Concept Delivery: Provide proof of concepts and simplify technical concepts to ensure client comprehension.
  • Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Proven experience analyzing client or organizational business goals and translating them into technical solutions, such as software implementations, system integrations, or cloud-based architectures. Includes the ability to recommend tools, platforms, or frameworks aligned with strategic objectives. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, collaborate across departments (e.g., sales, product, IT), and influence stakeholders during pre-sales, implementation, or solution design phases.
  • Experience in infrastructure and security management.
  •  Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Azure, SAP, Google Cloud, DevOps) are a plus.

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Knowledge of, and experience with, any of the tools in the IBM Automation portfolio.
