Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week – subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
2. Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
3. Utilize Adobe Analytics to track, measure, and report on digital performance metrics.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
5. Design and implement data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
6. Provide recommendations based on trend analysis and forecasting.
7. Automate data processes and improve data visualization techniques.
8. Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
9. Performance Metrics & KPI Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives.
10. Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation in data collection, reporting, and visualization.
11. Storytelling with Data: Present insights to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and visualization techniques.
12. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, marketing, finance, and product teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
1. 8+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization.
2. Proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction.
3. Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI for dashboard development.
4. Strong understanding of Adobe Analytics and digital data measurement.
5. Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
8. Experience with VBA, Python and DataBricks is a plus.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
