Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week

As a Senior UI/UX Developer, you will lead the design and development of user interfaces
for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams,
including product managers, designers, and developers, to create seamless, user-centric
experiences that align with our brand and business goals. This role requires a deep
understanding of UI/UX principles, front-end development, and a passion for crafting pixel perfect interfaces.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and accessible front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Ensure designs are optimized for performance, scalability, and cross-browse compatibility
• Implement unit tests using frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma to ensure code quality
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to iterate and enhance UI/UX designs.
• Work closely with product managers to define user flows, interaction models, and feature requirements.
• Partner with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in UI/UX design.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-focused digital products.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or RESTful APIs).
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
• Previous experience in FinTech.
