Senior Automation Testing

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Testing Engineer with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through robust automated testing strategies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using NPM and other DevOps tools.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics using tools like Sealights.
• Perform performance testing using LoadRunner and Dynatrace.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated test scripts and environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Strong domain knowledge in P&C Insurance, preferably with experience implementing policy administration systems.
• Proficiency in Java Ecosystem and scripting languages like TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with:
o Automation Tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, NPM
o API Testing: NodeJS, TypeScript, Postman
o Performance Testing: LoadRunner, Dynatrace
o Quality Metrics: Sealights
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
